| Newly owned by a yorkie--have question Hello everybody. I just recently welcomed home our new yorkie. His name is Howie and he is 9 months old. I have never owned a yorkie before and I was wondering if he is already 9 months...has he grown all he is going too? He currently weighs 6 pounds. Thanks for any info. Was happy to find this site. |

| Hi and welcome to YT. Congratulations on your new baby. At nine months he is probably very close to his adult size. Post pictures if you can. Buddy did not stop until he was 12mos but he a larger Yorkie anyhow. Carol & Buddy |

| He's probably close to being done growing. Miko did grow beyond that time but he is also a larger yorkie. I guess all dogs are different!
