| Thanks a Bunch! & Good News Update You guys may remember that I had to "rehome" my rescued yorkie because of aggression issues toward my children. I found Pixie the PERFECT home with a retired couple that also have another yorkie mix. She is doing so well there! And the best part is, I can stop in and visit her anytime I want. I wanted to give a BIG thank you to everyone whose comments, encouragement, and advice helped me make the right decision for Pixie and my family. In the meantime....we have adopted a yorkie puppy! A guy that works with my husband was looking to give her up. He said that he didn't know what he was thinking when he bought her. His wife is a teacher and is 5 months pregnant, they also have a 3 year old, and he works 12 hour days, so there was really NO time for the puppy. She is SO CUTE and came with all of her "stuff"! Completely prespoiled, as she came with everything but the kitchen sink. She isn't going to be a tiny girl... she is 14 weeks and weighs just shy of 4lbs (which is probably good since I have kiddos) and she may be a "red leg" yorkie as her hair is a little wirey and short. Only time will tell... puppies hair seems to change a bit before an adult coat begins to grow in-- but of course I don't have to tell you all that because I learned that all here at YORKIE TALK!!! We are actually calling her Pixie Too because my husband and kids REALLY wanted to have a little yorkie named Pixie. So, since my husband said that we didn't have Pixie I for that long, we should call the new puppy Pixie Too. We've had her for about a week now, and she is doing so well. She is doing wonderful with her crate training and housebreaking (we've only had a couple of accidents). Its been so long since I've had a puppy, I forgot how much fun and joy they bring to the home! I can't wait to get more involved in Yorkie Talk thanks again for EVERYTHING!
