| Hi jazzy, I am a new poster I have actually be a memeber of the forum for sometime now, but just had'nt posted, I own a yorkie(boy) his name is Nemo I he is very active he is only four months, and so I can see how the lifting the leg and marking his spot all over the house can be a lot to deal with, and I am glad you found a new home for him, and just to say that I do not think anyone was trying to take a tone with you at all, I feel the comments made were just out of concern I have'nt found any rude people on the site yet (not saying there are'nt any) Good luck with the purchase of a new little girl.... Gale... |

| Hi! I'm visiting from yd, but I was surprised to see Jazzy Baby visiting this site... We had a gift exchange on yd back in August and she received a gift, but never sent one out to her secret pup pal... There was never an explanation and the person has still not received a gift... I personally have emailed Jazzy and heard nothing in return... Just wondering what happened and if it was b/c you have been having problems w/Jazzy, then why didn't you contact one of us so that we could've helped? I feel that if you sign up for something, you should definitely follow through w/it, and if you aren't able to produce a gift, then you shouldn't sign up!! Jo

| Hi fasteddie, I am new to posting, but I actually joined sometime in Sept... I like reading the posts I have learned a lot from the yorkie owners on this board...I did not know I would end up with a yorkie, until the day my brother came to my house with him....I have never owned a yorkie or a dog, I have always been around dogs(my mom has a daschund named sugar, and my brother a cockerspaniel named sadie, and my dad had a chow-chow named ali, but we had to find a new home for him after my dad passed away) I have always been a animal lover, and always wanted a dog just was'nt sure about what breed, and then I did some research over the net about yorkies, and fell in love, but could not afford to buy one myself...the only person that knew I wanted a yorkie was my mom so I guess she told my brother....about a month later I had my little bundle of joy! My brother later told me that his girlfriend's parents breed yorkies and their dog had a litter back in july, and sold him one just for $100.00... akc registration papers and shot records were all given to me when I got him....I was so happy to say the least he is a lot of work, but he is so worth it, and I am looking forward to communicating with other members and learning all I can.... | Hi Higgin's Mom, I named my little boy Nemo...he is a active little fella, I have to make him rest after playing awhile, because he goes full speed, and I can't visit my mom as often as I use to, because he just does not let her dog rest, he is very nippy....he jumps on her, bites her....my mom dog runs from him....so I have to try and come up with some solutions for that or he want be able to visit much....My bestfriend liked my dog so well, and she had been wanting a yorkie forever, and my brother's girlfriend's parents made her a really good deal on Nemo's brother....she named him Lilo....they have not seen each other since they were 8weeks, but he will be spending a week in The Woodlands with his brother for Thanksgiving, because me and my family are going to Georgia. |

| I wonder if Lilo and Nemo realize they are brothers when they see each other again? They'll sure have a ball playing though Thanksgiving week. That sounds like fun! |

| Welcome to YorkieTalk, Gale and Jo!! Hope you enjoy the site! My 15 month old "bundle of energy" is Toto and she weighs 4 lbs. She thinks she is as large as any dog she ever sees!! Gale, you are fortunate to have Lilo close enough for your little Nemo to spend time with! Poor Toto hasn't had a small dog to play with since we bought her. We are hoping to find someone in the Grand Junction area that might have a little one to arrange play dates with!

| Hi Fasteddie and Bettyeanne I hope that Nemo knows his brother when he gets there Lilo seems to be more calm than Nemo....I know the last time they were together Nemo was all over Lilo, and all Lilo wanted was to lay around or have someone holding him, my little Nemo could care less about being held unless he is really sleeping. I have learned from this site that after he plays for awhile to put him in his carrier or kennel to rest.....now we just need to accomplish the potty training I am learning that you have to be patient, we are going through it slowly and patiently.... Nemo is very lucky to be able to interact with his brother from time to time, because my friend and I see each other often, whether I travel her way or she comes mine, so they will almost be raised together, but I think he may wear Lilo out.... | Gale: I see... I think it'd have been great to have Yoda 'grow up' with his siblings being owned by a few of our friends. We've turned quite a few 'non-dog' people into Yorkie lovers since we've had Yoda (who's currently laying right on my leg as I type on the couch!). Does Nemo and Lilo look similar now? |
