We are all psycho. The people at my work think I have completely lost it. I told my boss that I could no longer work 8am-8pm because I couldn't leave Hannah alone for that long. So now I work (when I do work) form 12 noon-8pm. My daughter gets home from school at 3:00 So Hannah is only home for 3 hours by herself when I work. I ususally only work 2 days a month though. I don't know what I will do this summer when we go on vacation... |
We are all phycho 1 Attachment(s) This is such a familiar thread. I have Bichons and Bichon lovers are every bit as psycho as Yorkie lovers. My granddaughter and her family are already neck deep in seeing that everything in their household works for Samantha, the baby Yorkie. Sammy stays by herself during the day (after spending her first week going to work with my daughter-in-law) and the TV is left on for her. Her diet, exercise, and potty habits are great topics of discussion and attention. My son goes home during the day to check on her. She is certainly a family member, 100% and bona fide! This is my granddaughter's first dog and she is loving every minute. I have to get pictures! I will try to post a picture of my two Bichons, Cosmo and Lacy, in their Easter collars. |

I am psycho Quote:
A woman got arrested a few weeks ago here in East Tennessee for dragging her Chihuahua behind her vehicle for almost a mile. The little dog was skinned up and bruised, but didn't have any broken bones. The dog recovered completely and looks good now. The woman said her child tied the dog to the vehicle and she didn't know it. She did get the dog back after going to court and paying all the vet bills. I hope she was telling the truth and wouldn't really do something like that! My sister says in her next life she wants to be one of my dogs. I will tell you right up front that Lacy and Cosmo pretty much come first at my house. I love them with all my heart and love having them around. I could talk for a very long time telling you all the ways they make my life better. If I didn't love them and want them, I wouldn't have them. I would go just as far to protect them as I would for any other family member. I decided they would live with me and I am responsible for their health and well being. I used to get some "looks" when I was working (I'm now retired) from people who thought I was nuts, but it never bothered me. It has been my experience that people who love animals also love people and if they are kind to animals they are kind to people. The opposite is also true. If a person will mistreat an animal, he will mistreat a person. I don't trust anyone that my dogs don't like. They have very good instincts. |

Im right there with you I love chester more than anything in this world, Im single and never have had kids nor will I, and I treat him just like a baby..... |
You're so not nuts :) I love my furbabies, and honestly I find myself wanting to be home with them more than out. If I'm away from home for too long I feel bad and want to be w/them so they're not lonely. I worry about their health, emotions, well being, and just everything. They feel like my kids, and wether that's viewed as "healthy" or not, I just don't care. They give so much to me, I want to give them the best life a "mom" can give :) |
