Actually I think it is a requirement for owning a yorkie! :jump28ib: |
Maybe we all are! Daisy and TeddyBear are my kids too since I don't have any skin kids. |
DEFINATELY NOT!!! I do have an 11 yr old human son, but I can assure you that Lex is my daughter and child as much as Alex is!! Yes- people think I am totally insane BUT I love her soooooo much!! |
At my job, I hear words like,"obsessed, out of control, a friek about her dogs" I don't have any children and I'm not sure I ever will, so they get all my "mother nuturing". I love it. I'm not ashamed of it. They are my babies and they are WELL taken care of.. I don't understand people who treat their dogs like dogs.... so there. |
Oh no, you are definitely NOT psycho! :D I am just like you in that I think my babies are just that - MY BABIES :) I always do a double take when someone out in public says something like, "Oh your dogs are so cute!" - I'm like WHAT! Excuse me!??? DOGS!!??????!!???   I don't see any DOGS around here, I see MY KIDS! LOL of course I don't literally say that to them...but thats what I am standing there thinking in my head the entire time. I am just nuts about these little ones of mine...I love them to pieces. And when we first got Stedman, my husband thought that I had lost my mind, and that I was CRAZY OBESSED with "a dog" (which I was, and still am) BUT, now he has become soooooo attached to Stedman and is exactly the same way I am with him :p And I gotta tell ya, THAT is soooo cute to see lol :P :tinyheart |
3 Attachment(s) Oh, by the way, this is what all my psychosis is all about. My little guy, Archibald Snookums. Here are some recent photos. I don't believe I've ever posted photos of him since my avatar. As you can see, he's grown quite a bit! |

Yup, all my friends and co-workers agreed I'm certifiable. :confuse8: |
Know whats nice about being a dog groomer..... Your co workers understand your obession with your dogs lol These babies are my children and will always come first. Not that Im anywhere near ready to have children but I wouldnt right now if I wanted to. My dogs have always been first in my life and thats all they know, it wouldnt be fair to them I dont think your average spoiled human child gets more then my dogs lol |
Save me a padded room!!! No "skin" kids for me but I have 3 babies that I wouldnt trade for the world. Everyone at work thinks Im a lil nuts sometimes bc my boys (not Sam yet because Mom doesnt think he is old enough) wait for the daycare bus to come pick'em up. And that I actually pay for it!!! My whole house is turned upside down for the babies. When my nieces come to stay they always get irriated at me when I say... Well, that is where Charlie sleeps..... hehe. |
I can totally relate with everyone --- mine is due to empyt nest syndrome -- I now realize that I need, :love-hug3 no have to have something to mother. That's just who I am and I'm proud of it. So Mattie fills that need perfectly. It's amazing how something so small can just melt your heart with one little look or touch. shelley |
Your not crazy at all but my fiancee does think I'm a little nuts about my three furbabies :p |

I have been married 13yrs to a good guy (high school sweetheart) We have 2kids 12 & 14-stop doing the math:rolleyes: I wanted more children but this world is a horrible place to bring children in to & to try to keep a marriage together. I try to do my best as a wife & am great mom but I pick my yorkie over all of them. The kids & husband are ungrateful little....:p I know I am raising my kids to leave the nest & I am trying to do my best to prepare them for the real word, not the real world seattle where the girl w/lyme disease got slapped, but the real world hawaii w/the funny drunk girl, anyways my husband & I are so different I'm not sure how it will all go down once the kids are gone, I know as long as I sit here in Ohio things can be fine, but I've always wanted to travel and have taken a hotel management coarse & now putting in my experience time. I hope to get a job at a pet friendly hotel once the kids leave & manage there, maybe live in-looking at northern georgia, somewhere warm...my husband may refuse to go but I am taking my yorkie ;) In answer to your question, you are no crazier thenn the rest of us.lol:D |
Another empty nest here, well it would be if I didn't have my baby Ellie:D |
