| Introducing Jerome! Hi everyone, my fiance posted a thread earlier in the sick & injured forum, I also wanted to post here and introduce ourselves! We got Jerome from a rescue group about a year ago in May...He was matted, dirty and had fecal matter stuck in his hind legs. He showed up as a stray and he was given to a foster group before we took him in. They think maybe he was an elderly person's dog...who may have passed away, and someone careless let him go. Regardless we are so happy to have him! We are not sure how old he is, every check up visit we go to they suggest he is a year older than we last have heard! So he may be 3, 4, 5? He definitely has a full personality -- he already knew tricks "sit pretty", and knew what cats were...(starts barking when I say, 'here kitty kitty') and also barks at the doorbell. We just found out he has pancreatitis. He had been throwing up for a few days and 2 visits to the Dr. later we now know he has pancreatitis. Will have to follow a special diet *he had been eating Innova. Hello to all you fellow Yorkie Lovers! From, Leah, Glenn & Jerome!
