| OMG Kelly, she is the one I got Cinnamon and Bubblez from back in 2004-2005. My god! I remeber coming to her house, it was a very dark street with narrow roads. Parking was somewhat difficult to find. And down the street there is a huge fire station! My god! I hated driving around that area because it was so dark. Her house has a gate on the outside and then you walk up the porch and there's another speaker. Hardwood floors and the rooms are sectioned off so it's hard for the dogs to wonder about. THis is terrible. Sad how criminals are motivated purely by money. |

| Even though I'm in Alabama, I watched the video to see if I could recognize the faces of the robbers. Many times here if robbers are put on video, on TV, someone turns them in. I worked in a 7-11 many years ago, and robbers came in and put cartons of cigarettes in plastic trash bags....... But dogs??? Living breathing in plastic bags???....thats animal cruelty, on top of robbery!!! Jeez....I sure hope those guys are caught, with all the dogs, and go to prison for the rest of their lives. Thats so sad for the owners! Glad they did have video though, maybe the tape on tv will help them find the robbers. Its a shame tape didn't show car tag. |

| I wonder if there is some way for the police to get the phone number of these thieves through caller id or something (though they probably used disposable cell phones). After watching that video...if I were a breeder, I'd figure out some way to get ID or references or license plate or something before a potential buyer could come into my house. Hopefully there won't be any copycats.

| That video made me sick to my stomach. I can't imagine what those poor people were feeling. I certainly hope they get caught. I got frightened a couple of weeks ago and I took down my website for dog clothes. Someone emailed me about some harness vests. She also asked me about my parti yorkies. She wanted me to make her some vests and I told her she could either pay through paypal or send me a money order. She wanted to pay with money order so I gave her my address. She never sent the money order and she quit emailing. So I don't know if she just changed her mind, or if she was just wanting my address. It is a very frightening thing. |

| Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I just saw this thread. I posted a picture about it Thursday night and haven't been able to stop thinking about it. I hope they catch them quickly. That was sickening to see the way they treated those poor dogs, not to mention the people. This might be a cautionary tale for breeders. Before giving out your address, get a reference in advance and call it. To those of you who know them, you might ask them if they can get a DNA profile of a parent or sibling. That might be the only way to identify them in the future.

| This is so upsetting. I have received an email about it from almost everyone I know and it is on all my forums. It is very scary especially for us breeders. We have always worried about our dogs being stolen but never imagined them doing a home invasions with guns and everything. This world is getting really bad. It isn't happening only in the big cities. I have a friend who lives in a medium size town in Kansas that had her home broken into and the only thing that was stolen was one of her Yorkies. It weighed only 2 lbs and they are heartbroken. I can't help but be worried about my gang. |

| I hvae a sticker on my front and back doors announcing to the world that we have 2 yorkies inside. I did it in the event of fire, it's a rescue sticker, but now, I think I'm going to pull it off and just leave the one on my electrical box. Geez, what is this world coming to?

| Any luck on catching the creeps yet?? I just keep thinking about how the poor babies were running for their lives from them. I can't imagine what the owners are going through.
