What are your Yorkie's quirks?

oh also.....bella thinks she is a parrot. she is always trying to sit on my shoudler. when we are in bed it works because she can lean her back on the bed post. it is soo funny when people come in and see my yorkie sitting on my shoudler....hehe

zac doesnt like it when the light goes out in the bedroom but is fine if hes in the dark in the frontroom, tye will run up and down the hallway stamping his feet when he wants his food, brandi will bark at anything that you point at her, tv remote, book, plate lol dont know why, and suki my shih tzu will jump in the bath with you or if im on the loo will try to put her feet in my knickers and try and clime up on to my lap when im having a wee lol ive told her i dont watch her when shes going a wee and its not lady like to watch me lol when my partner went to the loo she looked at him horrifed that he wasnt sitting down lol i couldnt stop laughing as she was just stareing at him with her mouth a bit open lol and he was shouting for me to come get her cos he couldnt go with her watching lol

Queequeg's favorite place to play is my glass desk for some odd reason. If the glass is cold she will tap dance (yes, tap dance) and do this really weird backward walk onto her toys; all the while staring at me until I pick her up.

Rocky has a few, but one that comes to my mind is that he won't let me do any household chores. I can't do laundry, vacuum, clean, do the dishes, etc. He always goes crazy and jumps up at me, and won't stop barking, but when my boyfriend does any chores, Rocky just chills and watches him. It's like Rocky knows I don't like to clean


Another thing is now with the snow outside, he has to poop and pee on the huge snow piles. He won't go in his little path that we shoveled, instead he climbs up the piles and does his business "on top of the world" LOL

Widget will just stand there and look back at you if you rub a toy over her body, her back preferrably....of course when she tires of this she bites the toy......

My little Colby likes to sit on my shoulder when I am on this website reading. He really watches the screen and try to get on my laptop for a close up when I look at the pics posted! He always notices the animals on tv real or animated and starts barking. He then jumps down and runs to his food bowl and eats a piece or two of his food. It is so funny! I dvr'd The Westminster Dog Show and leave it on when I'm out of the house. I really think he enjoys it.:

My furbaby goes CRAZY over popcorn!! We sit on the couch at night and share a bowl- my family thinks I have lost my mind!! BUT Lexie is like my baby- we have the best time with our movie/popcorn nights!!

I had to laugh about the vaccum and appliances- Lex does the same thing! She has actually tried to attack my sweeper and bite the bag- oh what a mess that would be if she broke the bag!!!

I forgot to mention that Gracie always crawls up and snuggles on my left shoulder while I am watching TV. If I am laying on the sofa, she will often stretch out across my chest and snuggle up under my chin, and goes fast to sleep, Makes watching TV a bit of a challenge, and almost impossible to sneak a drink of water!

When you first get home Daisy will run and find her Mr. Bunny (her fav toy) before she will greet you. She always remembers where she last left it.

Teddy Bear won't take a treat from you until Daisy takes hers and he follows her to see where she went to eat it. Then he will come back and get his and go to the same area as Daisy to eat his.

They both bark at me (always) when I am on the phone. It is pretty annoying.

What a fun thread!

When Emma is tired, she'll get on the couch or bed to curl up, and make these little whining noises as if to say "Ohhhhh I'm so tired..." Emma has to be touching either myself or my husband when we're sleeping. She won't sleep otherwise. Emma only likes balled up blankets. If there is a folded blanket on the couch, she'll mess it up first and then sleep in it. She plays with 2 toys at once frequently-she'll hold a ball under her while chewing on a nylabone, for example. If you try to take one away, she sometimes growls!

Emma will NOT let Milli on the bed in the morning until after my alarm has gone off once. If we put Milli up there, she will growl and push her off. (We have a platform bed, so at least it's a short fall!) She HAS to have the first treat when training or rewarding. Milli can have the 2nd or 3rd, but not the first.

Milli will run the other way if you tell her to "come" and reach for her. She also WILL NOT eat her food, unless it's got some water on it-a drop or a few tablespoons, it doesn't matter, but she refuses to eat it dry. She also has the FUNNIEST jump off the sofa. Rather than jumping head/front legs first and getting down at an angle, she jumps OUT and UP, making an arc off the couch to get to the ground. She lands on all fours! It's as if she says, "bombs away!" and just goes for it! My husband and I were getting hysterical earlier watching her do it!

Archie does the same thing when I'm sitting watching TV! BUT, he must have a toy with him -- usually his nylabone chewy bone or his Kong! I think if I had the nerve to walk around with him like that, he would hang on like a parrot. He also "sasses" me when I tell him not to do some (bad) thing. He will stand with his legs wide apart and wag his tail VERY slowly, look me straight in the eye with a kind of teasing expression and make playful growling noises.

One time my husband was playing with Chewy with a tape measure (I don't know why). He pulled several feet out and then chased him around. Anyway, he did not have fun, he was scared to death!! Now, hubby will go to measure something and we see Chewy fly into the other run and we're like "What the....... oh yeah, the tape measure."
He also is a little afraid of his bowls, because they are stainless steel and he can see his reflection when he goes to get food. So he grabs a piece real quick and then runs about three feet away to eat.

I got out the tape measure the other day to measure if the x-pen was long enough to block off my kitchen from my den. Sassy was terrified of it. I was surprised. As far as I know it is the first time she has ever seen one.
