| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I have 2 drama queens about getting nails cut. I wrap them in towels like little Mummies, take out ONE foot at a time and make sure they are facing me so I can talk them thru it. It worked for Cheri yesterday better than ever. it only took 2-1/2 years to get to this point but it was the first NON wrestling match and I was pretty proud of her. No screams of drama - no fighting me and the best part - I cut ALL 20 nails in one sitting YAY for Cheri !!! ps....when you have a very YOUNG puppy - the nails are paper thin and you can use an emery board. Only a few swipes though...you can go too short very quickly |
