| I let mine play a bit in the snow when we go out for walks but I put him in a jacket, sometimes 2 layers of jacket when its really cold and if its like maximum cold, around -25, I put him in a sweater, and 2 layers of jacket. I don't know if others put as many layers on their dog but that is what I do. The jacket I have does not have sleeve so I figure he needs 2. We usually go out for like 30 minutes or sooner if he had enough. Usually he never had enough, he wants to stay longer than 30 minutes

| I just saw this in Readers Digest & they say once it's at 20 or below to not let them out except for a quick bathroom trip. Hope this helps
