| ![]() Carol, it sounds like you are a great mom to buddy and he will reward you for that in the long run. you sound like you really want to do what is right. I commend you for taking action. Maggie is very young but she gets a bit of an attitude sometimes. I have to correct the problem RIGHT THEN. hubby will sometimes say "what are you doing to her??" when I hold her on her back and make her submit...but she is NOT going to snap at me or my child..or anyone else for that matter (unless they are a true threat). period. she is not going to be the boss here...I refuse to allow it. so we work very hard to accomplish this and you know what...she loves me for it. I can tell. as soon as I let her up and we are finished with our little "session"...she gets on my lap and kisses me to death!!! she really is a great dog and it sounds to me like buddy is too. You will be so happy you put your foot down.

me and that's just not going to work with me as well. I think you are right saying they seem to appriciate being corrected. I think he really was happy this morning when I got down on the floor and played with him before I let him go free. Got lots of puppy kisses. Carol & Buddy

| ![]() Another night went by and he just loved sleeping in his own bed! He jumped in it by himself. Is it possible he wanted me out of the bed so he could sleep alone. ![]() Carol & Buddy ![]() |

| ![]() My mother?s Yorkie would also growl if you moved in bed and I always felt it was related to the fact that my mom probably rolled on her a couple of times, which scared her. However, she would never bite and I am sure that is probably the case with yours, just a lot of noise! I would bet you have nothing to worry about, she is probably just scared. |

Buddy is 13.5lbs. No tiny, so yes, he made me very nervous when he not only growled at me but jumped on my chest and threatened me with other growls another time. I never have rolled on him. He was just being dominant towards me and I won't have it. As far as biting me from what I have experienced I would say he would have if I let it continue. Why, I have no clue because he is loving and trained and a very happy little/big boy. I find the whole thing very disturbing, do not understand any of this and needed it to end. Carol & Buddy '
