| SUCH a smartiepants! Has anyone's yorkies left you shocked at how darn smart they are?? My lola (now that she's almost 1 yr old) is becoming very smart indeed. She watches tv with us and pays attention anytime things get interesting, i.e. animals, cops, lots of colors, etc... Last night while we were watching tv, Lola was biting the tag on my pillow (which is not allowed) and I was laying on top of, as I turned to scold her, she drops the tag and turns her head towards the TV! Like it never even happened! I kid you not, she pretended she wasn't doing anything bad! This little FAKER! I started laughing so hard! My bf saw also and he was shaking his head. Whatever Lola wants, she gets, if a toy gets accidentally tossed on the bed she will paw and paw at the sheets until, magically, the toy is in her mouth! I swear, baby genius. She also knows how to prioritize, 1. chicken jerky (her fave) 2. my attention, playing with her 3. responding to outside barking 4. food 5. playing with her toys. She also does the ferocious bark/little bitty whine and comes over to me and puts a hand on my shoulder, like, don't worry, I got you... She thinks her job is to protect me, awwww..... |

Donating YT 11K Club Member | It happens everyday with Teddy. He amazes me. Everytime I let him in the hallway to run he will smell my neighbor's door because she has a 'hotdog'. He LOVES that dog. Before he runs he will scratch and scratch the door for them to open it so he can say hi. I knock and I tell him Teddy knock and he will pound on the door and scratch till they open. It's so funny. My godmother/neighbor is always laughing. |

| Hey, my Lola loves chicken jerkey best too! Yorkies are seriously the brightest almost human type of dog I've ever owned. She 'talks' and makes the most interesting noises to let you know what she wants. I told my hubby today that he's Puppy Whipped. She has him so wrapped around her little paw that she'll walk up to him, make a bunch of noises and get him to follow her to play fetch. I swear she waved bye to my son the other day, shocked us both These little buggers are just too cute and too smart for their own good.
