| All hope is not lost - do a search on the site and there are many, many threads about getting ears to stand up. Shaving, taping, etc. But, I have a floppy eared yorkie (he's 1 yr old) and I think his ears couldn't be cuter!!!! The picture attached with Howie in blue is what his ears look like with a shorter hair cut and "yorkie ears" and the other pictures is his longer hair.

| Here's a pic of my floppy eared girl. She is 14 months. We tried taping, massaging, keeping them shaved, more taping... everything to try and get them to stand up. Nothing worked... but she's a keeper! |

| Personally, on these adorable little furbabies, anything looks good. As long as you have no plans to breed, floppy ears can be too cute, like little pigtails. Here's a pic of my little Spanky, the prettiest face with her very own pigtails: |

| My little guy has floppy ears. When he was little they were up and down, especially when he was teething. I wanted to tape them but my husband said he liked them better floppy. As you can see he is ADORABLE ( doggie not husband) but sometimes I wish they stood up for the unique yorkie look.

| I have one up and one down and we think they are both equally adorable! In pix #1, my daughter says Rowdy (ears up) looks like a rat! How dare her!

| We have a little girl that has floppy ears. She could not be cuter. We never for a moment tried to get them to stand up. We love her this way. Everyone always thinks she is a puppy. |

| I think that they are cute with floppy ears, just as cute as with ears that stand up. |
