Mackenzie has stayed pretty dark too, her color hasn't changed much at all...this is her at 15 weeks and 2 years

Oh my, she is gorgeous!!! i love the dark colors on yorkies better then the standard blue.

I just adopted a 4 yr old yorkie female that is darker. I wish I knew what she loked like as a pup. Here she is now!

One of mine never really lightened up. His face is mainly still all black and he is 1.5 years now! He is sooo adorable! but definately not standard yorkie colors!

My Mia has stayed dark and I like it. I just wish someone could come up with a silky dark coat.

Kayah is one and a half and she's showing no signs of breaking her color except for a couple of silver hairs on her back

The first picture is the day I brought her home at twelve weeks

The second is from a couple weeks ago

Hootie is 9 months old and her back is staying black and her face is staying a dark orangy color thus far.

My babies are siblings, from the same litter, and are 30 months old now. Ceasar is going blue and Cleo is still dark all over her body and very rich tan around her face. I love both colors.

My lil Elle's coat is still pretty dark. Her dad had the black coat still and that was what I wanted. But I wasn't sure if she would stay black or not. Anyways, She has a lil grey by her legs other than that she is black and tan. I love it!

I have one of each coloring. My newest Yorkie is Starr, she is my black baby! She was black when I brought her home and is still black. The only changes are the fuller coat and of course the lenght of her hair. I think she will stay black, she appears to have the manorisms and coloring of her Daddy

her parents are shown with their coloring on the next post
