| Web Cam for daytime. Guys, my pup should be coming home next week. I want to have a web cam setup at home so I can monitor his activities from work. I have tried doing this with Windows Encoder 7. Live streaming sort of. But does anyone have any other, better suggestions??? Thanks Dave |

| I was thinking about using Yahoo too. But you have to send an invite from work to your home PC, and then someone has to accept it. As far as I can remember. But Encoder just gives you an IP and you just log on at any time of the day. WI will experiment today. |

| I just bought my companies webcam (logitech) I LOVE it but the problem is that with the yahoo, someone has to be home to accept to view the webcam. I wish there was a place where I can just sign in to view my own webcam activity. I might try taking my work laptop home, and sending and accepting the invite in the morning before I leave for work. I'm so not techy..lol

| Very happy with it. I started using it over a year ago when my bichon got sick and I was a worried mommy so I watched him from work so I could leave in a heartbeat if anything was wrong. It is a real easy set up and I use it with my regular web cam connected by usb. I am looking into getting a wirelss cam now so I can move it around easier and watch my two little Yorkie butts to see who is naughy and who is nice hehe I have internet on my cell now, so I can basically check in anytime! It's great!! Ahh, technology, ain't it great!!!

| You can set up your live Webcam feed at www.ww.com, I believe it's still free. Or you can buy a software program such as Webcam Pro (http://www.globalshareware.com/Inter...WebCam-Pro.htm) which would give you more options on sending a live Webcam feed. |

| If anyone does this, please post about it. I love the idea... and would love to do it, although I am a little unsure of how it would work.

| I use Security Monitor Pro, an excellent network video recorder and I love it. It has time based recording and motion detection alerting, and remote viewing, along with many other features that are useful. Easy to use and reliable and supports just about every IP and USB camera I have tried |
