Please i have a yorkie Question...

He's 15 lbs. and very muscular. His ears flop over too, but he has that perpetual puppy face even though he is turning totally silver at 2 years old.

Ok i have a yorkie that i bought in Brooklyn, NY from a breeder store. She is now 1 years old (in december). The thing is one, her hair is curly and not straight the way i hear yorkies suppose to have them, also, her ears are droppy and hang over, they always have. Why is this? Is this normal? Im going to try to post a pic of her later. Also she weight 9 pounds, its that alot for a yorkie and they claim she is full breed but how with curly hair and 9 pounds? I got mine from there thank goodness he has no health issues but mine has his hair straight not curly and he's gonna be 1yrs in another week and he weights 7lbs 6oz

They seem to vary a lot. My first Yorkie weighed no more than 7 pounds EVER ... Ozzie weighed that at 6 or 7 months. (He's now 13.5) at age 9.

My first Yorkie's ears never did "leather up" and always flopped. They only stood up when he would be listening intently to something. Ozzie, however, has always had stand-at-attention ears, though they flop on occasion. If I put too much conditioner on him, I notice that sometimes his hair tends to do the wave!

A drop ear and wavy or bit of a curly coat is not unusual in Yorkies. I wouldn't worry about it, she likely is a purebred.
