| Why do you have to wait 2 months to get her spayed? I'm worried about that. I'm not sure if my dog went into heat before she was spayed at 6 months or not. I'm thinking she did. I noticed when I was cleaning her off one day that there was dried up blood around her private. I also have this red streak on my carpet that I can't get clean for anything. I don't know if a kid took a marker to my carpet, or if it's from the dog. I thought she was a bit young to go into heat, but maybe not. I had her fixed very soon after I noticed the blood. Her appointment had already been set and I didn't think anything of it. Now you have me thinking I did something bad. ![]() I know she is alot meaner since she's been fixed. I mean, she is a very friendly dog, but she gets attitudes a whole lot easier. Mostly with my other puppy or with my 11 year old son. |

It can be done while they are in heat or you can wait 2 months after their heat to get them fixed. It depends on the vet and I really don't feel comfortable doing it while she is in heat. My vet said he can do it now but its going to cost me more...not sure why I'm waiting 2 months because by then her internal organs will be back to normal. You didn't do anything wrong. Your vet should have known when he went in and did what he had to do (whatever that is ) I really think my girl is PMS'ing now. She is real nasty with Timmy. Gosshh I hope she doesn't get meaner for Timmy's sake.

I don?t know if it is impossible for them to mate, though I would still be very careful as maybe he could hurt her if he tried. Little panties are so easy to make, I just sewed one leg in and used Velcro to close the other end. Does not have to be perfect, just a little precaution.

Thanks! I will be careful. I wouldn't want my little girl to get hurt.

I just checked out London and she is just precious!! She so reminds me of my little Raisin of years past. I think it is the eyes and the smile. Both are adorable, but I am so partial to tinies since I have always had one. It is like forever having a puppy. Be still my heart, I am in love!

| That is soo funny... We actually have a dog at my house that we've had for years that is 1/2 Lab and 1/2 Weiner Dog (Don't know if that's spelled right!) he is a stray dog that I took in. He's our watch dog... Picture lab head and tail... Long long body, and short stumpy legs... Then thats George. |

| My girl is 5 pounds. She is 18 months. She had her first heat at 9 months and the second 7 months later. I am planning to breed her the next heat. She will be around 2 years and will be mature enough to be a good mamma... |
