My dream come true! Well, first of all I want to say hello to all. I joined this forum a while ago and this is my first post! My name is Renee, and I am a mommy of three. Two jack Russell Terriers, Marshall and scooter and a brand new baby Brookie, my 12 week old 75% Yorkie, 25% Chihuhua mix. A yorkie has been my dream for soooo long (about nine years) and me and my husband finally got her! I know I am rambling, but I am so excited. After two weeks her and I absolutely adore each other (she has even convinced my hard-headed husband that lap dogs are best)! Thanks for you always interesting conversation and helpful hints...they are much appreciated. I look forward to becoming a more active member in the near future! **My baby is the lil girl on the right..the one on the left is her only sibling..a big brother She looks different now though...her hair is growing fast, and she wears a little bow!

Hi and welcome. Glad you could join us. Your little girl is so cute. So who has her brother? I'll bet she has her daddy wrapped tightly around her little toe. Hope to see recent pictures of your babies. How does her big brothers like her?

Brookie's Story Well,..lets see. My baby girl was an 'accident' who was never supposed to be born. My mother has an AKC male Yorkie and an AKC female yorkie. Her employer has a female 1/2 yorkie, 1/2 chihuahua. My mother does in home health care..so she took Spencer (her male) with her to work, thinking that her employers female was all done being in heat. NOT THE CASE, so a few months later Brookie and her brother were born. I have dog sat for Brookie's mom LOTS of times, so she cut me a MAJOR deal on Brooke because she knows I am an excellent home for her and would rather spoil my dogs than myself. Brookie's brother lives with the employer's daughter. So, the puppies were kept in the "family" so to speak. `Brookie definitely has her "daddy" wrapped around her finger, and it took MONTHS of convincing for me to get a yorkie because my husband has wanted an English Bulldog forever. But, even though he pretends he isn't happy with her, every night i catch him giving her tons of kisses when he thinks I am sleeping Well that is her story, and as soon as I can get the cable for my computer I will be sure to post lots of pictures of her because i am so proud. I think she looks almost like a purebred yorkie, so that is pretty exciting! I would love her no matter what though
