| Higgin's mom....I've jsut started knitting! But what does "inc 1" mean? add a stitch? rememeber...I'm just a beginner! Also, I had one of Otis's sweater's and I counted 46 cast-ons, and your say 48. Do two stitches really make a difference? |

| Inc 1 does indeed mean to add a stitch and there are several ways to do it......I'll see if I can find a website that will show you how...... If the yarns are similar in weight (thickness), 2 stitches probably won't matter at all. Okay......I'm going surfing......I'll be back..... |
