Senior Yorkie Talker | My New Baby - Yay! I'm so excited right now! I've finally found my new furbaby! It's a little boy and he's 5 weeks old. I've decided to name him Jasper. He's so tiny and cute. He's actually the smallest out of the litter. Jasper will be coming home in March and i'm stoked! Zoey is going to have a little brother , how wonderful is that? I have one question to all of the members with female Yorkies. Zoey will NOT keep hairbows in her hair and it's really starting to bother me. She'll wear clothes but she hates hairbows. I don't know what to do! Sometimes she acts like a little tomboy. She runs around on the floor and tries to take the hairbow out of her hair or either she shakes and it goes flying across the room. Does anyone else have this problem? Help me , please! I'd like her to look like a little prissy lady but she'd rather act like a little boy.

| Congrats on your new baby, and yes my new little girl takes the bows out to. I was told to put a bow in everyday so they can get use to , make a loud clap & shot and tell her no.

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought I was the only person having these problems with the hairbows. She has one in now and she's doing pretty good with it. Yay!

| Congratulations on the new baby! You are going to be amazed at how adding another one changes the dynamics of your home Hoku loves having a playmate even though Kalani does get on her nerves sometimes - LOL! I too thought I'd be able to dress my little girl up but she fights me all the way. Last night I dressed them both up in little Hawaiian vests and she fussed and fumed and he was happy as a clam. Go figure!

| What a sweetie! I'll be you can't wait to get him home! As for the bows... mine do the head rub thing on everything too. I agree that the more they wear them, the sooner they will get used to them. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Thanks everyone! I'm super excited. The breeder that i'm getting him from is wonderful! We're a little ways away but she's been emailing me everyday. Zoey will start to mess with her hairbow and then she'll stop after awhile once I say "NO!" so we're making some progress.

My goodness, he is such a cutie. My Annika hates bows too so I highly suggest you try my clamp style clips because they are definitely lighter and so they won't feel anything. And no need for bands so it is easy to put on and take off. | |

Good idea! I think that's the problem. I was using the rubberband style instead of the clamps. It was sorta funny to watch her roll around on the floor trying to take it out. LMAO. She even sat on the floor for about 5 minutes rubbing her paws back and fourth to take it out. I died laughing.
