I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | I can't believe this breeder lets her kids handle these Yorkies like this! I just came across this video on YouTube and I was so SHOCKED to see that this breeder allowed her little boy to handle this Yorkie puppy in this manner! All she says to him is, "easy" in a calm voice. OMG! My mouth literally dropped when I saw how rough he was being with it! That poor little puppy! If that were my son he would have been in so much trouble! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eqn7JIIeVPE Edited to add: I just went back and looked, and apparently I'm not the only one who got upset after seeing this! Look at some of the replies

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | wow. its nice that the pups are being exposed to young children and the way they handle them but that little boy was flipping it around like it was doing cartwheels. at one point i cringed thinking about that pups spine. wow....

| I agree - I didn't think anything of it at the beginning of the video with the (I thought) bigger child holding the puppies...but, are you kidding me?? That's the time that somene should be educating that child on how to handle puppies and dogs, in general.

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | I agree! That's why I can't believe that the parents let him get away with this! They obviously haven't taught him how to "handle" the pups

| That kid hasnt been taught how to handle pups. I have a 6 yr old and she knows better than to handle a small animal like that. Some parents just dont bother with their children

| OMGGGG I couldnt even watch it. I feel so bad for the poor pups. At the end it looks like he's about to pick two of them up at the same time. I just hate to think that my monkey tooshie could have been treated like that. I plan of having two of them one day but i've never really seen two pups interacting. Was it normal how the bigger one was bitting the smaller one? Were they playing? Or was that a little too aggressive? |

| How should a 2(ish) year old know not to do that? Blame the parents. People wonder why a lot of rescues and some breeders don't like to sell to people who small children. This is why.

| Totally agree!!! I think it's the parents fault I have 3(11, 9, 6)kids and when we got our dogs Chiquito and Tinkerbell, I told them to be very gently with them. I dont allow my 6 year old to pick them up, he can play with them but only on floor level

| I agree What is the matter with these people they really need to be teaching their child how to handle those fragile babies and if he isn't old enough to handle them with care "don't let him touch them!!!" He could hurt them!! it makes me sad to see them handled like that. they are so small !! |
