| Hair Length About how old are they when you can get enough hair together to form a top knot? I've seen a few that looked kind of young that had them, but their age wasn't mentioned. Betty is 17 weeks old, but her hair is not long enough yet. I'm guessing since she is probably cotton-coated, it takes longer to grow(?). One other thing...the hair roots on her head are turning tan...but her back is still black, with maybe a grayish hair here or there. Does that mean she will have a black coat instead of the blue/gray color? Thank you for your response. |

| I don't know about everyone else but I was able to get my little girls' up at 14 weeks it was a little hard at first but I think that was mostly due to her not having very thick hair. But at 16 weeks she had enough to put up without a struggle. Here she is at close to 18 weeks with her hair up..... |

| I love the picture of your little one at the beach! They are all different. I could get Ben's hair in a topknot early, definately by 4 months, but he just won't leave it in. Sadie is 4 months old and I might be able to gather a stub of one, but it would not look like a real topknot. I can put a little bow with a clip in, but again, it doesn't stay long enough to even take a picture. Maybe a couple more months for her. I just have to figure a way to get them to leave each other's bows and clips alone.
