| You sound like a typical mommy. Everyone one of us has been thru this when the puppy is new. I gave my little girl some fish oil yesterday because she itches quite a bit. Well, it stopped the itching, but she also got an upset tummy from it and threw up today. She's a fussy eater and has only eaten mostly meat the last couple of weeks with a baby carrot or two a day, so I thought she wasn't getting enough omega 3s and 6s. I could kick myself, but we live and learn. I meant well. I'm going to order some derma tabs, made for dogs, instead which will provide omegas and other vitamins. |

| How long after he ate the yogurt did he throw up and was the yellow liquid also foamy? Usually, yellow foamy vomit is bile and means their tummy is too empty. Puppies should be eating something every couple hours during the day. Even older dogs will vomit bile if their tummies are too empty.

| The yellow liquid is bile. And they throw that up when they are hungry. Little ones need too eat small frequent meals

| Please tell me that the yogurt was NOT a diet variety. Artificial sweeters are toxic to our pets If you want to give yogurt, that's really good for them, but it should be the plain, unflavored variety. Try to stick with the regular or lowfat, but never the fat free (it's full of thickeners and stuff that's really not good for any living being!) If you give him a new food, make sure that you just give the tiniest smidge at first, to make sure he tolerates it well. Is his ear red inside, or does it stink? Do you see any black dots, that look like dirt? Could be ear mites, if so. Need to call the vet first thing tomorrow if you suspect any infection there so it can get treated immediately! I hope he feels better, poor wittle guy

| no its yoplait yogurt or whatever cherry and vanilla is the flavors. i think he ate the little pieces of cherries and didnt chew them and didnt digest them right. the yellow throwup was just liquid with the cherries. hes been fine ever since. he ate good this morning and has drank more water. he eats great. im not too sure if he likes this eukanuba puppy food. he wont eat that much unless i put chicken and rice pro plan wet food in it but just a little. so now im just got a little of it and rub it on the top of the dry(have to wetten it a little) dog food. he eats soo good and at least 3 meals a day like i was told on here to do. and food also stays out if he gets hungry. the ear isnt red but looks like it could be a little dirty. we are calling the vet tomorrow. should i try cleaning it? other than that hes spunky as ever and we thought of some names what do you thing pichocco skoshi chicago and what do i do for the registration name? |
