| What am going to do???????? The DH wants to go to the Black hills in late summer. Well I want to go but I just found out you can not Bring dogs at all ! It is a Camping thing and I Always bring the dogs. I know I can find a home to leave my GR at as she is a big dog and gets along with everyone. But I refuse to but Kodi and Daisy in a Kennel! And have a really hard time trusting anyone to watch them that does not know Yorkies. None of the family I have here has Yorkies and the ones that have dogs I would never let my dogs around thier dogs. I am so worried I amgoing to have to Just stay home for the trip and let him go alone. |

| We need to start swapping sitter services. My girlfriends and I do it with our kids, so we can go to the gym, run errands, dates with husbands etc. I watch her kids, she returns the favor. Why not do the same with our fur babies. I'll start... I'm in Weyburn, SK an hour south east of Regina, Sk... if anyone needs a yorkie sitter for a trip, pm me!!! (I realize it's a long shot not many people on her from my area, but for those of you in the larger cities, it's a good idea!!) Shar-Lee & Finnigen (who would love to have a yorkie friend visit)

| I live in the Black Hills! How long will you be in the area? There's a really nice doggy daycare that just opened here. I haven't been there personally, but I've heard great things about it. If you want, I'll get the web site for you (I was just looking at it the other day...can't think of it off the top of my head). They have pictures on their site of the "suites" where the dogs stay and everything. Prices here seem to be lower than pretty much anywhere, so you'll probably find their rates reasonable. I would be glad to watch them for you too since I'm home all day, but I do have other dogs and don't know if you or yours would be comfortable with that. But that is an option for you if you want them to be with you as far as the Hills. I've got lots of room. Either way, I'll be glad to help! Let me know if you want that daycare site and I'll see if I can find it. |
