| I saw this dog featured in a news story last year. I'm pretty sure the dog had dwarfism and the owner knew the dog wouldn't live a long life.

| I saw him on one of our news channels alive a year or more ago. And my son got a card of him from Wendys or another fast foods and it says he was the smallest living dog and he has it on our fridge

| Both of those babies are adorable. Come on who wouldn't want a cutie like these but many of us know these babies are subject to very unhappy lives and thats no fair so we have to pass up on them to finish the tiny trend. I mean that poor baby only live to years. I would brake me in pieces of I lost my girl after only having her for two years. The thought of it just haunts me an I have a teapot (10 lbs) . |

| fyo I happen to have a very tiny yorkie that I bred. (unintentionally) He is going on 6 months old and weighs in at a whopping 1 lb 8 ozs. I had 6 from this litter and only 2 were this tiny. I lost the little female but managed to save the little boy after 2 months of 24/7 every hour on the hour getting up to nurse him and keep him from crashing. Mom and Dad both weigh 5 plus lbs and I never got tiny's before this. I retired Mom after this last litter as she was going on 7 years old. My little Pocet Rocket is now very healthy. I'm a vet tech, so I take him to work with me every day, so he gets to see the vet A LOT! So I try not to judge people unless I know they are breeding for tiny's like JDEAN does. I thinks it's awful to try for these tiny ones, but I wouldn't give my little one up now for anything! BTW, I didn't sell him because I was afraid that whoever bought him would not be abl;e to take care of him the way he needed to be and didn't want someone to buy him and then have him die and them be heartbroken. I try to be responsible and breed good pups, but sometimes.......things just happen for no good reason. Never had a problem with this mom and Dad before so think it was just a fluke that he was so tiny. The other 4 pups that lived were all "normal" size.
