Pixie goes in the dog n go playpen when I have to go out which isn't for very long or often and she SCREAMS. I have never heard a dog scream before. And Cali and Maya are still here with her. I just try and ignore it and I do think she stops after awhile. My husband said it took over 30 monutes the other day when he was home but couldn't watch her close enough. What I don't get is I got her a few weeks ago and she was use to being in the Breeders basement in a 18 x2 run with 2 other dogs and other dogs in other runs. SHe is 13 month old too not a puppy. I am just trying to be strong and leave her a little every day so she gets use to it.

Maybe Pixie is just afraid you won't come back

Hoku is fine in the pen - now that Kalani is there - but he will cry for me for a bit each time. I'm thinking he'll figure out soon that his mommy will always return

Sasha still screams in her crate too, and I donno what to do about it. It makes it hard to sleep at night! I can only wear one earplug cause I have to keep an ear open for my son! I just try to ignore her, I keep hearing that if you ignore her she'll eventually get used to it and learn to love her crate.
