My cousin and her Husband got transfered to Fort Rucker, AL last year and I went and visited them. Now that place is worse that Fort Hood. There is nothing at all there.

Ft. Hood is the biggest military post, we have been stationed in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma:confused: nothing to do, unless you go to OK City:p. South Korea:p it was ok, and here TWICE:eek:. So far I like Ft. Hood better than those other places:p. We were supposed to go to Ft. Bragg in NC, but got our orders changed last minute. I heard is not fun there:rolleyes:.

yes, Bella is a maltese. I love having the two of them. Bella is more of a lap dog but she still does play a lot. Benji has calmed down a lot ever since we got her.

Man oh man....you guys have been all around. Is your husband in the army? The only bad thing about Ft. Hood is that a lot of people get deployed out of there. Both my cousin and her husband were deployed to Iraq twice in a 2 1/2 year stay there. Both times were for a year too. That is why I am happy they are at Ft. Rucker now even though I can't see them as much.

Bella is beautiful!!!! and so is Benji:luv:. Both your babies are beautiful!!!

My husband is in the army going on his 14th year now:eek: !! Yes that is a downside to Ft. Hood, deployments:(. So far we have been lucky and he hasn't been to Iraq yet, Thank GOD!!! but that can change anytime:(. I think they are getting ready to go next year, it's the worst thing about the military, not only are you away from your loved ones but you never know what will happen:(. I am glad your cousin and husband are back safe and with no further deployments:thumbup:.

I'm not sure about Florida.. but when I visited Boston w/the furkids.. they were not allowed to be unattended at all in the hotel even though there was no limit on the # of animals. They would arrange a pet sitter to stay w/them while I was away.. but with the expense of that plus my trip it was probably a better option to find someone who could watch them for me here. :)

I live about an hour north of Disney with my husband and 2 furbabies. I understand the problems in being gone all day to a park. When my grandkids come, I deal with finding people to come over to be with them throughout the day. I'd be happy to keep them for you if it will help. You'll be too tired to come and get them at night so if you want me to keep them for the week I can do that. Just pm me and let me know.

how weird, my boyfriend and i live in Florida and we are planning a trip to Disney but we want to bring along mister Howie :) so before he left to work he tells me get online and research if we can take him.

I stayed at the QUALITY INN on International drive. They allow pets and only charge an extra 10 dollars a day. AND, I live in Tampa, so if you need a doggie sitter while you're at disney, i'm only 45 mins away!

OMG!! Thank You :thumbup: You guys are the best, I mean it. My babies are never left alone more than 3 or 4 hours at a time:(, I am at home most of the time. It sounds too scary with all those big dogs there.

Tinkerbell, Chiquito and I would like to Thank You with all our hearts:thumbup:.
