Just moved~Dog driving me CRAZY!! - YorkieTalk.com Forums

I know we are in new surrounding but Thor is driving me CRAZY!!! I'm gonna have to commit myself if he keeps this up. He whines, and whines, and is back to following my every step! And then just whines!!!!!!!!! I left him inside for two seconds to get something from the car and he barked like someone torturing him! I really can't take this!!!!! I don't know what to do with him. He had toys, and he gets long fun walks on the beach, and around the 'hood. ARRRRRGGG! I need a break. The only thing I can think of is that he's bored cause he doesn't have Izzy and Harry to play with anymore. This has GOT to STOP. Thanks for listening to me vent!

Awwww it's ALL new to him, and like you said, he misses he's friends, poor baby. He will get used to it all, just takes time

Maybe he needs a little playmate

awww its all new to him...maybe play with him on the floor and grab his toys, he will get use to it I'm sure

ahh sorry, but he'll get used to it. You can bring him to my house to play with Alphy. I saw that you moved but I couldn't figure out the connection of Izzy and Harry. Where'd they go?

That does help...getting on the floor playing, but only for so long. I've got to unpack, and clean this house and I feel bad that he's bored but he's been getting extra special walks and I can only take so much of this......Venting totally helps...the constant whining is like chinese water torture!!!

I lived with my parents, they had Izzy, and then I got Harry for them cause I knew they would miss Thor so much. But they still miss THor like crazy, and all the dogs miss each other. It's sad. But I try not to think too hard about it or I'll get home sick.

Thor would LOVE to come play at your house. He'll be over in a jiff!

When should I pick him up? Sunday morning?

Have you tried giving him something to chew on or a Kong filled with peanut butter (that would keep him quiet for awhile, haha)?

Tell Thor that we are on our way over to play

I moved a few months ago and my two were driving me up the wall too. Barking and carrying on. Thankfully they still had each other tho. I can't imagine what they would have been like if I split them up. It took two weeks for them to get better and within a month they were back to their oldselves. Good luck

Could you try some Bach's rescue remedy? Thor's probably just really anxious that he might lose you as well as his playmates.

We don't have a kong. We lost ours in the 'great toy divide'. He has every kind of bone, chewy thing, pig ear, bully stick...you name it. Toys, toys, toys. Come on over. You couldn't get here any sooner. Hopefully it's low tide and I can take him to the beach in a while.

oh no! haha I have 2 and it did not cut down on the whining by one of them! They are glued to my side every second I am home with them. If I run out the car for a minute they bark non-stop

, if I step outside to smoke they bark & cry non-stop. My neighbors are complaining

! Major seperation anxiety! chinese water torture lol good comparison!!!

I absolutely love love love my boys, but sometimes Id give ANYTHING to get away from the constant, pet me, love me, hold me, hug me, don't give me less than 110% of your attention behavior! I got 2 so they would have each other, but it didnt work out that way! Sometimes I just want to wash the floors, or do a load and its like I have 2 tiny shadows I have to try to not step on!
