Just moved~Dog driving me CRAZY!!

He has so many things to chew on!! He drove me NUTZ last night. I am just ignoring this behavior because I don't want to reinforce it by giving him attention when he does it. Last night he whined for prolly about 10 minutes non-stop!!! I had to plug my ears. Then he does this high pitched bark at me. I seriuosly DON"T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THIS! It's driving me SO freaking crazy!

Poor Thor! I bet he just isn't used to his new surroundings! Tell him Zeus says Hi and he can come stay with us in NC anytime!!

Thanks for all the great advice. He is FINALLY sleeping, and not whining at my side, but it's been non stop all day. I really hope this stops soon. I don't know how much of it me, or my bf can take of it!! I'm looking into a 'buster cube'.

I took him around a lake today...a nice long walk with lots of outside stimulants...he whined the whole way there and back...Maybe it helped a little since he's sleeping now. As soon as I stand up from this chair, he'll be up and at my side again... Sooo exhausting!

Be patient. Everything is new and unfamiliar. He misses his pals and is afraid probably of being abandoned in his little mind and he wants you and only you to be there for him. You're the only thing that hasn't changed. Be strong, he'll be feeling more confident soon. Extra loving is my perscription for as long as it takes.

I didn't know you had moved to Canada with Thor. I hate that I missed that post. Wow! Such a big move. We'll miss you here in NC. Hope you and Thor are very happy. I enjoyed meeting you. Lippy and Patton give Thor lots of puppy(well they aren't puppies now) kisses.

I feel your pain, I got Pixie a week ago and when I have to lock her up when I go out or need to get something done she screams. My husband said she screamed for 35 minutes straight and then on and off. I have ever had a dog do this. She is 13 months old and use to being in a run int he breeders basement so I do not know why she is so horrified at being in her pen. I also have 2 other dogs so that doesn't seem to work. The Breeder and other's have told me let her scream and eventually she will get use to it. But that's easier said than done as it can drive you crazy. Good luck Iknow how frustrating it can be.
