Donating YT 7000 Club Member | My heart stopped! A little while ago I was out walking Tucker with my friend Jess. He had on an extendable leash because I couldn't find his blue one. So we were going around the corner and I dropped the leash. I was kind of freaking out (as he was about 30 ft in front of me) but I expected him to stop because of the sound it made when it hit the ground. But he kept running. So Jess grabbed the leash while it was dragging along, because we didn't know it had broken and was no longer attatched to him. When I realized that I started running FULL speed and eventually I ended up standing over him and he was laying on the ground. I nearly died and all I could think about was when Maddie took off. Thankfully, though, this one ended well. PS - I just saw Freedom Writers. Best movie ever. see it.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | Thanks. It was really frightening. I also forgot to add that we were about 10 streets over, and Tucker is about 14-16 pounds, and I had to carry him all the way home. Of course that was about the last thing he wanted, so he squirmed the whole way.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Nice job chasing him down. I know that sense of panic well. I literally jumped in front of a moving pickup last week when Eddie darted out where he didn't belong. He's been on a leash ever since.

| Gosh - I know that feeling!! but good job on running Tucker down. Dougal would have been on the road in front of the car. He's been nearly been turned into road jam that many times I'm beginning to think he's a cat! (Nine lives) But we're all glad Tucker is safe and well!
