Damage due to our angels Since we all know our pups are Yorkie Angels:littleang "NOW" what kind of destruction did the little devils do when they were pups? Here's Bud's list: 1. Ate rung on my dining room chair 2. Ate the corners off of 13 throw rugs 3. Chewed the corner of the woodwork on my laminate floor in the kitchen. I faux painted it to match. 4. Chewed the bottom string of lights off the Christmas Tree while it was lite. 5. Chewed up several bows from my granddaugher's pony tails by jumping up an pulling them out! 6. Ate the bottom lining in the living room chair. I had to have it replaced. 7. Chewed the corner of my new sheet on the bed while I was sleeping. 8. Chewed the corner of a throw pillow on the love seat. 9. Chewed a corner of the skirt on the love seat. I believe that is when I took a mental fit and scared the hell out of him. He never chewed anything of mine again after that breakdown. LOL Who's fessing up next? Carol & Buddy |
:lol tears:lol tears:lol tears:lol tears:lol tears haha I bet he learned his lesson lol I guess I got lucky with Kayah.. she doesn't destroy my house.. just my socks  and it doesn't matter to her whether they are dirty or not.. she finds a sock... forget it.. it's hers! |
Well...... Sissy began chewing the corner of our dresser when she was mad she wasn't getting attention..... Now Angel has chewed the heck out of that, has already pulled up tons of the berber carpet in the office, and is will chew anything else she can get. I've got a very large spray bottle of bitter apple on the way!!!! |
LOLOL NEXT TIME YOU HAVE YOUR MENTAL FIT Pleeeeeeeese get someone to video it !! I'd pay to see that :D You have little chipmonks....are you very sure they're yorkies ? Yorkies are angels and would never eat a chair.... ok - maybe a chair LEG - but think of the memories they're giving you - you'll never be able to look at your stuff without thinking of them again lol |
Since mine never had free roam, was in their doggie fence, outside or on the sofa with us at night, they never had a chance to get into anything, so I have to say they never tore a thing up. When they did get more time to explore, I was right on their heels, and it wasn't untill they were over a year old before they had more time to explore, but I have to say I had an eagle eye on them. It wasn't till they were close to two years old that I then knew they could be trusted. |

I have plenty! Today he is the best boy ever. But it took alot of stress to get him there. My SIL breaks my chops by saying "Oh he's a good boy"!. He actually wrote a song about Bud and he and my granddaughter sang it at Christmas Dinner! I was pissed! I got over it. The song was really funny. Carol & Buddy |

I"ve been lucky with Max. No distruction. But one day when I had to go to Drs. Max and my pet potbelly played tug of war with the Feather pillow I lay on the couch with. Then one time Max rolled his ball in bathroom and somehow the door shut so when he got bored he got ahold of a 8 pack double roll of Charmin from under the sink. They are a handful but we in our house would have it no other way. In fact we would like to have more. Kinda keeps us old folks on our toes. |

My bunny ate a whole in the bathroom wall...put two wholes in my carpet...Chew on LOTS of my hubbies computer cords... chewed up a cell phone charger of mine... and put whole in MANY MANY MANY of my undies. Bella on the other hand...only licked a small peace of wall paper off and chewed off a small bit of my laptop charger...it was only the plastic part and it was not pludded in, but the plastic got stuck in her teeth and she freaked out and only chews on stuff I giver her now. I guess I didnt have it too bad. |
alphy likes the bottom shelf on my coffee table. It's just his size, he can lay on the floor and just chew chew chew. He also likes the corner of my hutch and the knobs on the bottom drawer of it too. Every once in a while he likes the ends of my shoe laces. |

I don't know where to start....:p , Those puppy days were fun...hopefully I am over it for awhile:rolleyes: But your not alone...:p |
Damage Confession Jackson confesses...he is part chipmunk/beaver. So far...(and I don't think it's over yet since he's only 8 months old)...he has ruined 3 leather belts, my leather purse, one pair of slippers, the padded seat of my computer chair, the corner of our antique blanket chest, the sleeve of a brand new fleece jacket, the cord to my daughter's MP3 player, numerous Beanie Babies, the cord to our electric towel warmer (chewed this completely off!), and countless rolls of toilet paper! And this was done all despite the fact that his space is full of chew toys, rawhides, etc. My last yorkie went through about 7 pairs of my shoes, so at least Jackson hasn't done that! Ah, the joys of puupies! Good thing he's so cute and lovable or he'd be in big trouble! :p |
I just noticed last night that Ralfie chewed up the leg of my very expensive antique coffee table!!!! ARRGGGH! He also has ripped up some carpeting in the corner by a door, where he managed to pull a bit up. He also grabbed my Uggs and was about to go at them, fortunately I caught him in the beginning. He will no longer have free reign of the apartment- oh well, at least I rent!! |
Oh no, you're not alone. Right after I moved into my new house, Lucy chewed the molding beside the front door, and going into my son's room. A couple of days ago I was on the computer and Lucy and Rebel were wrestling. It got very quiet and I knew it was time to check on them. They were up to their respective eyeballs in a neck pillow and the stuffing was ALL OVER the living room. |
LOL thank heavens there are more little devils out there! It is truly amazing what they can get into even with toys, chews all over the house. I knew someone would ask for the stupid song. V it had to be you.:D I never asked for the words because like I said I was po'd but to hear my 5yr old granddaughter belt it out during dinner is what saved me. I LMAO but was mad anyhow. Ok I guess I'll have to ask for the words and eat crow. I think it was to the tune of Jingle Bells and it was all about Buddy's antics. NOthing good that he did only the bad things. I love my SIL but but he breaks them all the time. Carol & Buddy |
My teapot yorkie tears apart all her toys--with the stuffing going everywhere. LOL. Otherwise over the years I've had several computer cords destroyed and toilet paper dragged all over the family room and kithchen. |
Teddy bites the wooden stool here and my loftbed ladder, London copies him. |
Hannah loves to eat my braided rugs, she trys to eat the base boards on the wall corners, she tore up the lining under my chair, any sock she finds is history. She will try to eat anything but her favorites are the rugs, socks, anything made of wood, anything made of paper-especially tissue-she is like a little paper shredder. |
