| So little Lexy is in the doghouse, huh? Cute little stinker! As I've read some of the posts on here, I've been so thankful that Maddie hasn't shown and interest in the walls or carpet...but...the other day I heard a noise and went to look and she was ripping apart the carpet that is coming down from the bottom step! Good grief! I cut away the evidence and glued some pieces back on in hopes my husband won't see it and nope...not telling him. As my mother has always told me, "Some things are better left unsaid." This is one of those times. |

| Hi all - Biddy here. I never knew what a delicacy drywall was until Tucker came along! I never even had a nibble before he came to live with us! But boy, since he's come along the 2 of us have really been living it up! He's turned me on to drywall, chairs, carpets, all kinds of things! I can't believe I had all of these delicious things right under my nose (and feet!) all this time and never even tried a bite! I'm making up for lost time now!

| Too Funny You guys really crack me up, especially eensor and Lexy. Well, we have not yet experienced this problem, though I have a sudden urge to go examine the walls in the house just be sure. Do you think they are missing something in their diet that makes them do this? Some children do this (eat plaster off walls) and it is thought to be due to a nutritional deficiency such as iron deficiency anemia or zink deficiency. It is called pica. I wonder if yorkies could have similar nutrional deficiencies? Of course it could just be normal "yorkie" behavior. On another note, I have a friend whose yorkie was always chewing the wooden legs of her dining chairs, and she bought some of those wooden popsicle sticks that you can make crafts with and put those on the floor underneath the table and her baby chews those up now instead of the chair legs. Everyday she picks up the pieces of the chewed up ones and puts fresh ones down. Sounds strange to me.....but I guess it works.

| She would be in Yorkie Jail for a verrrrrrryy long time if she chewed my dining room chair legs! I've sondered about the vitamin thing too. She is on Royal Canine puppy food, so you'd think she had all the right vitamins and minerals, etc. I think she is just getting some of her adult teeth in and wants to chew. Of course, she has 10,000 toys and ropes of her own to destroy! She knows she is in trouble with me! I caught her doing it again this morning! After I yelled NO! at her, she got in her crate. She is so precious.....albeit destructive recently!

| Skittles already gets the newspaper on the but if she chews my bare toes w/those little needle teeth - I can't imagine her using her teeth on the wall! She thinks she soooo mistreated now when I get the newspaper out...if she ever does that OMG!! |
