Potty Training Nightmare! Starting 2 days ago Buddah decided he no longer wants to be potty trained. He was doing so well only having an accident if I left him unattended and out of his play pen. Now he does fantastic out of the play pen, but has been 100% unsuccessful while in his play pen. When I come home from work or wake up in the morning he has peed or pooped anywhere but on the potty pad. Why is he doing this? I find it wierd that he is suddenly not using the potty pad in the area that he is supposed to want to use it the most. I did make his pen area bigger but it didnt start until 4-5 days after that. Any suggestions or ideas? I almost feel like he is doing it for attention?

At that age you might still have to get up during the night to take him out if he won't use the pads. My boyz didn't start holding it all night until they were about 5 months old. Have you tried crate training instead of using a playpen? I crate trained the boyz but when they held it all night long I let them start sleeping with me.

I cant crate train him because I am not able to take him out every few hours. This is all strange because he wasnt having any problem before, now he is only doing it when he is in the playpen and im not home. any other time he is 90%

That's how Jo let me know he was done with the pads and only wanted to go outside...he tore them up and wouldn't use them anymore. I wonder if it would help if you had the pad in a litter pan...that made the difference for Riley...I don't know why but it did. Good luck with Buddah...potty training can be very stressful on everyone.

Well I fixed the problem. Apparently Buddah doesnt like the pad holder. He would rather just have it lay on the floor like it does in the living room. just thought yall should know. thanks for all the help
