I'm Having To Sell My Miko!!!
 

I'm so devestated but decided to sell my Miko. We have alot of things going on right now. We are building a new home (ourselves). We've had to move in with a friend until our house is done which may be a couple of more months.
The person that we are staying with has allergies and is being nice enough to let me my husband and kids & miko stay there, but I feel really bad and like I'm imposing.
The responsibility of having a dog has become to overwhelming for us, between the house and our busy lives, Miko is not having the best life he deserves to have. We both work full time and my kids go to school and do nothing to help with Miko. He needs to be taken out on a regular basis (maybe every 2 hours) in order to avoid mistakes, which is really difficult for us. I'm crying as I write this email, because Miko is a member of my family and only want to sell him to a person that can give him the attention that he needs.
He is a very lovable, energetic dog, that still has so much puppy in him, although he is two years old.
I really am looking for someone that is in the Florida area, (preferably within
Tampa) so that I may be able to see him now and then, as this is such a difficult thing for me.
Like I said before, I just moved, and have "all" of Miko's papers and records in storage, so the person that is interested in him, would have to wait for all of his documents. But he has had all his shots and he is registerd with the Continental Kennel Club.
I decided to post here instead of my local newspaper as I know many of you are all great people and will be willing to help me find a special home for my Miko.............Thanks

I'm so sorry to hear this. Maybe there is someone on here that lives close to you, that will be able to look after Miko till you get settled in your new home? Just a thought.

I can't imagine having to do such a thing. I hope the fostering idea is an
option for you if not I'm saying a prayer that a YT'er will be able to take him.

Thanks Ladies, But the fostering is really not option, our schedule is really not going to change after we move in to the house, and I would not want Miko
to get use to a home and then have to have him move somewhere else, he's been with us since he was a baby.
I'm really only looking for a forever home for him, and only someone that would be able to spend more time with him, he deserves more attention and someone that can be with him alot more than we are at the moment.

I saw your ad. Hopefully he can find a home with a yter.

This is heartbreaking :unlove:. I do hope Miko gets a loving forever home that he deserves. Circumstances in life can be so hard sometimes. :cry8:

If you did sell him what would you be asking I know that my mother may even just want him and she is close really close :)

I'm asking $500.00 for him. I'm not sure how would do with other dogs though, it's always been just him, and we are not around other dogs alot....

I'm sorry you have to sell him :( I hope he finds a forever home near you so you can still visit him.

i dont understand why this has to be a permenant thing, couldnt you as others have said, give someone miko to foster him untill your house is done?

If that is how you feel I congratulate you for thinking of the dogs well being first. Some people do not have the time or patience for a dog and just haul them to the pound or let them go on living miserable.

This is really sad:( :( This has really touched my heart deep inside:( I really wish I lived closer to you:( Miko sounds like sweet baby.........I know Tinkerbell and Chiquito would love Miko. I have been looking for a little boy for a while, I wish you and Miko the best of luck. I hope you find him a loving home:(

OMG....how sad is this....but I appreciate you thinking of HIM! That is great! If that is how you feel, he does deserve to have a proper home - and there is nothing wrong with that. You are doing what you feel is best. How old is he, etc....someone mentioned an ad...is it on here?

OMG I just about fell out of my chair when I saw this post about MIKO. I remember seeing him when I was searching for another little one and your cousin was selling her little girl. I LOVE Miko he is so cute. Oh I would just LOVE it if I could have him but I think my husband would kill me if I even asked. I think he would love it here in my house with Murphy and Mia. Oh how cute would that be Murphy, Mia and Miko - ha, ha!!

Is he crate trained? Has he been fixed? HUMMMMMMM....let me try and ask but I have a strong feeling it is going to be a firm "ARE you crazy" statement from the hubby! :rolleyes:
