| Last summer Jazz was recovering from hip surgery and needed to swim for therapy. My daughter took him to my sister's pool. She said he hated it, LOL. Hope your baby loves swimming!

| Reesie loves our pool. The only thing that gets annoying is she guards the diving board. For some reason she starts barking like a mad woman when someone jumps off the board. She has her own raft she floats on. We buy those rafts that have the soft mess center so your partly submerged in the water. Texas heat in August She also likes to lay on the steps to stay cool. We really have to watch her though because if someone just runs and jumps in from the side..... she is using right behind them diving in also. She can dive in head first. She loves to put her head under the water to eat our pecan leaves. I can't wait until summer to see if Abbie our new baby will take to the water. On a serious note...DON'T leave your baby unattended because they can get forget how to get out and panic and drown very easily. Our pool has an iron fence around it separating it from the rest of the yard. I didn't get her a life jacket, but I've seen people out on the lake with their boats. Abbie is going to be alot smaller than Reesie so she might need one. Most are amazing swimmers. Sorry this is soooo long, but we can't wait until summer this year. Congradulations on your new pool and I hope your baby loves the water Here's a pic of her standing on the steps cooling off. |

| My Chanel loves to swim with my lab, she thinks she can do whatever she does that includes swimming in the sea, and swim after the ball or sticks, so she wears her lifejacket, and is on a roll up thingy leash. One of us is always ready to jump in incase of emergancy |

| Its in Cincinnatti about a 5 minute drive from the Kings Island Amusement Park. It is great they have all kinds of contests and activites for the dogs to do. They can also go iin the wave pool and swim or sit on a raft. We had a great time and Our dogs loved it. Jewels won a best dressed contest. We recommend it for anyone wiith dogs. We were shocked by how many dogs and dog owners were there. They have it in early September the last Sunday they are open

| I have alittle boy that enjoys swimming and my little girl is not so sure. I also have one of the rafts that has the mesh for them to stand on. She is okay with that and will ride on it okay but tries to jump off ifit gets too close to the side. My boy likes riding on it and will just chill. I did take them to the lake last summer and both of them ran out into the water and swam. I think as long as they can get in and out on their own my girl would do better. Perhaps I need to add a doggie pool ramp for her this year. It is always fun to watch them run at top speed and root in the yard trying to dry off when they get out. I always throw a couple of towels on the ground for them to dry themselves on but both of them end up rooting in the grass too and getting grass stains on their little cheeks.

| Logan swims in my mom's pond all the time. Usually he just splashes along the edges, but I think he would actually swim if we were in there with him. He makes me really nervous though because he likes to submerge his head & I'm always sure he's drowning, but he pops right back up after a few minutes. We plan to go our friends lake cottage this summer so I'll have to work out some kind of leash system so I can keep track of him. I might get one of those hands free leashes.

| We had a scottish terrier when I was a kid that couldn't swim at all. She would sink like a stone. When we build our pool I was only 3 & i accidentally knocked her in. My brother ran over & grabbed her collar & held her head above water until someone came & lifted her out. I still remember it vividally it was very scary.

| We had ours off leash and no one said anything to us. It is a great time. They also have movie Saturdays where they put a big screen out in front of the wave pool and show movies. In the winter they have a winterfest. We love that park we have season passes

| What a great idea. I wish we had something like that around here. We have been discussing vacation ideas and we both agree that the girls are going with us. Maybe a road trip in your direction. Thanks for telling us about this. |
