| ![]() Chrissy 0277 is completely correct. Liver problems do not equal death...That liver shunt/mvd support group is wonderful and the people there are very knowledgeble. Praying for all your babies!! My baby does have liver problems...He was diagnosed before he turned 1 and he will be turning 3 this April ![]()

| ![]() I'm confused ...the vet from Purdue University called me and he confirmed that they do lithoripsy ( destroying kidney stones by shock waves ) on small yorkies ...the success rate is 80 to 85% ...there might be complications and calcium oxalate stones tend to come back... Royce's file was sent today to Purdue sothat the vet can study Royce's case ... I don't know if I should put him through this procedure or not ... |

| ![]() I don't know how I missed your original thread. I'm so sorry that Royce is having problems. I have no experience here, but I think I might ask Purdue if the procedure is successful to break up the stones, what can you do to help prevent them returning and what is the rate of stones returning. Perhaps this can help you make an informed decision. Good luck and keep us posted.
