| Lexi is having surgery this morning... I just took Lexi to the vet for her surgery. She is being spayed, micro chipped, and having any baby a few baby teeth pulled. My poor baby cried when I was leaving and made me cry. I know she will be fine. They have a person who sits with the pups after surgery and just loves on them. I think I'm more sad about leaving her than the surgey it's self.

| Thanks, I know she is fine. The few times I have left her was with my husband. I don't even leave when I take her to the groomer to get her ears pluck, and nials clipped. I stand right there were I can see til she is done. LOL

| Tricia, I know how hard it is to leave your baby. Bo had his neuter surgery almost a month ago and leaving him there was horrible! I couldn't even turn around! But Lexi will be fine. I'll pray for you both this morning. Bo sends kisses!

| It's great to see that kind of love for a Yorkie baby! She will do great today and she gets the bonus of extra love and care when you see for the first time after surgery! Love to both of you!

| It is so funny how attached we get to our pups. The nurse asked if I had kids, and when I told her yes 2 girls she said, I never would have guessed. LOL I knew what she was saying and told her yeah imagine how hard it was for me on the first day of school. My youngest started Kindergarten last fall...

| I know it's hard we are so accustomed to taking them everywhere with us and especailly when they are uncomfortable we want to be there to show them we are there and give them love and "spoiling".. |

| I know how you feel! I was a nervous wreck when SNoodles was spayed! However, I insisted on takin g her home that night. I kknew there was no one permently there all night and figured I would be right by her and take her in if anything happened. I had to sign a waver, but I couldn't leave her all night! You might think about that! We just love them too much tobe seperated when they are hurting! Couldn't keep her from jumpiing on the couch the next day. They recover amazingly fast! Pat |

| OH, poor you.... I had Maggie's teeth cleaned on Monday, and then wound up sitting up with her most of the night. They had to pull one tooth, as a result of which they gave her pain medication. She was just SOOOOOOO pathetic. She absolutely did make me cry. By last evening, she was back to her old self: running and romping with Molly. That first night, however, was really hard. (Of course, this is the "drama queen" who is absolutely PATHETIC following annual immunizations.) Anyway, the whole thing makes me fearful, as I've got to have Molly spayed in the next couple of months, and she's only half Maggie's size (about 2.5 pounds of Molly next to 4.0 pounds of Maggie). Have a good night. Try not to feel too guilty! Last edited by Figment713; 05-18-2005 at 02:33 PM. |

| I am sure Lexy's surgery will go fine and she will be home with you soon. Then you can give her TLC. I have this surgery coming up for my male then my female and I will be glad to get it over with. I am sure Lexy is fine and just missing her Mommy. Best of Luck.
