| Strange find in my bedroom... Hello everyone, Im new here I have a little yorkie who is nearly 6mths old called Lottie while sorting my bedding out last nite i came across a strange wee thing. Its very tiny teeth with no roots and theres about 3 of them joined together it looks like a "bridge" for dogs! Im quite concerned about this, i checked lotties mouth and she doesnt seem to be missing anything, and isnt in any pain. Is this normal? The teeth have appeared in the last week, as I change my bedding weekly. Any advice much appreciated T xx |

| WELCOME TO YORKIETALK It sounds like your wee little Lottie is growing up and is losing baby teeth! Make sure Lottie puts her it under her pillow for the Tooth Fairy. |

| Welcome to YT!! I agree with Chattiesmom .... they are little baby teeth. We had the same experience with our Toto when her permanent teeth began to appear. You will probably continue to find them for a while as Lottie gets new ones. Any baby teeth that she retains will need to be removed by your vet. Toto's were removed when she had her spay at 8 months! Hope you enjoy it here at YT .... we would love to see pictures of little Lottie and hear all about her!

Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | Welcome T & Lottie! Yes, your little Lottie is growing up and getting her big girl teeth! You may find she's chewing on EVERYTHING, as her gums itch and hurt a little. The good news is - when her permanent teeth come in, they won't be nearly as sharp as those baby teeth were!

| Hi, welcome to YT!!! Yep, it sounds like they are just baby teeth. Don't panic My one little girl was horrified when her teeth were loose. The first one she came to me crying and hitting her paw at her mouth. I twisted it very little and it came out. So then she did this for every tooth She's a big baby and I wouldn't change that for the world My other little girl had them all removed when she got spayed. I guess her's didn't want to come out. Anyways, welcome to this great place. Can't wait to see pics of your baby.

| Welcome! All the way from Scotland, how cool is that? If the puppy canines on the bottom end up side by side with the adult canines you can wiggle the puppy teeth, loosen them up and help them out just like your kids teeth. Top canines have a tendency to come in front to back and are harder to get out. They usually have to be removed by the vet.
