| My best mate Hi all what a great site, A new Members- very sad tail to tell but worry not it does have a happy ending, on the 24th March 2003 I was travelling to Birmingham on business an unfortunately boring journey carried out numerous times during the year. This type of journey tends to push you in to a regular routine I am no different and always give in to the culinary delights of the motorway services; same services nearly always the same car parking space! Now on this occasion I was travelling extremely early and arrived at the services at around 06.30, I made my way to the stairs that lead to the entrance when my attention was drawn to a small cloth bag besides a half empty bottle of milk? On closer inspection I was gob-smacked to find not one but two small, cold and clearly distressed puppies. What do you do at that time in the morning I have never owned a dog, or in fact a cat, my first thought were to give them to an assistant at the Services, I should have maybe they have been honestly forgotten. Rubbish who would do that clearly deliberate, and what if just maybe the assistant done it?? I could go on and explain what happened from then till now but won’t bore you all, I can say that both puppies turned out to be healthy Yorkies. I never mad it to Birmingham and my life was changed I now have one girl (Lilly) and my mate (Dennis) both are healthy, happy and give pleasure to everyone they meet. So who ever you were and what ever your intentions might have been I thank you for two fantastic bundles of pure joy. |
