| unfortunatly i have NO expereince with this as i only have one.. but i was thinking... what if Lily is in her crate... and you can let gracie go up to her at her own pace.. or even an x-pen.. that way gracie knows there is something between them... pups as we know can be crazy.. and gracie might just be overwhelmed by her energy... have you had someone hold lily while you hold gracie and let them sniff eachother?? i wish i could help more... i know for sure that any time she has a small victory exploring her new sister... praise praise praise!! |

| When getting a new puppy I found that my older dogs always ran from the puppy. I dont think its scared of it I think its just wanting it to keep its distance, It wont last long. |

| Lol we have Chewy at 12 weeks and our older bigger dog still doesn't know what to do with him after almost 4 weeks. Although they are sleeping together right now when awake Chewy thinks he should hang by poor Lewis tail who has no idea what to do. I am ready to bite Chewy for Lewis. Lewis is at least 40 pounds. |

| I guess I just expected Gracie to stand her ground. Lily runs and bites her hair and jumps on her face and Gracie runs....which I understand. I guess I just expected Gracie to show her that she is boss and instead she runs and jumps on the couch, chair, or bed...anything she can get to that Lily cant! I feel bad because Gracie will go near her but Lily responds by biting her legs, hair, nose....it goes on and on until Gracie runs! I wish Gracie would just put her in her place so they will both be able to walk comfortably in the house! Maybe time will tell....... Gracie doesnt want to play rough and Lily is in "puppy mode"

| We got Max last Wednesday. The girls were terrified of him. So we have him in the kitchen with a gate, so they can smell him through it. We also have a doggie door that goes into the kitchen from the lanai. Piper started going to the door Friday & checking him out. We let him run a little in the house & closely watch him. Piper has been playing a little with him, but she is so big, we have to watch every minute. Misha on the other hand doesn't want anything to do with him still. She runs & gets up on the bed for safety. She smells him if I'm holding him then growls. It will just take Misha longer, I think it is because she is older. Piper is 10 months, & Misha is 15 months. Good luck, it just takes time...
