| Stolen Yorkie Returned!! The yorkie that was stolen from a pet store was returned!! Was watching the news and the pet store owners decided to keep him! His name is Garcia after the Eagles quarter back. Poor little thing was shaking because he was so scared. I am glad that the pet store owners decided to keep him and not sell him. Happy ending for this little guy!!! |

| Since the puppy generated so much media attention, I'll be that store owner keeps that pup at the store to help bring people in just to see it and then maybe hope for some sales. What happen to the girl who took the puppy? |

| Poor Garcia I've been following this story closely because the pet store is a few minutes from my house. And I STILL feel bad for this puppy. When the story first broke the pet store owner was talking about the missing dog and you could practically see the dollar signs in her eyes. She was selling this dog for over $2,000! AND if my 5 month old furbaby had just been through a horrible dognapping you better believe I would NOT be PARADING him around on tv in front of a noisy, busy press conference with cameras and lights in a strange place. I would be at home with him snuggling and playing, not stressing him out even more in a strange place. I bet if we checked in with this family in another year they won't have Garcia anymore. Nice publicity stunt to draw attention to your pet store.

| I live about an hour from Philadelphia. Today when I took Debbie out with me running errands, several people asked if this was like the dog that was taken. Tonight a girl told me he had been returned. Sure enough I just went to look at the local newsite: http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?se...cal&id=4967703 When the story originally aired the owners said they just wanted the puppy returned, no questions asked. If you watch the video you can hear all the details. It sounds like the dog napper took good care of him. I don't know, he might have had a better life if she had just kept him. I didn't get the impression that the pet shop owners were keeping him. It sounded like they were just taking him home for a break. |
