I live about an hour from Philadelphia. Today when I took Debbie out with me running errands, several people asked if this was like the dog that was taken. Tonight a girl told me he had been returned. Sure enough I just went to look at the local newsite:

When the story originally aired the owners said they just wanted the puppy returned, no questions asked. If you watch the video you can hear all the details. It sounds like the dog napper took good care of him. I don't know, he might have had a better life if she had just kept him. I didn't get the impression that the pet shop owners were keeping him. It sounded like they were just taking him home for a break.
