How Much Did Your Yorkie Weigh When You Got Them? I was just wondering what a 10-12 week old Yorkie usually weighs? Kasey |
My tucker was a little rollie pollie at a little over 10 weeks old almost 11 he weighed 1 pound 9 ounces, when we hot him. He was such a chubby little ball of fluff:p |
Little Bit weighed 13 oz. when I got her at 9 weeks which was too little and too young. But she's a hefty 4 lbs. now.:) at 9 months. |
kizzy weighed exactly 1 lb @ 6 weeks when I got her, she now weighs around 10 or 11 lbs. She will be 1 year old Feb 3rd. Maggie weighed exactly 1 lbs when I got her @8 weeks , now she is 5.3 lbs. She'll be 8 months feb 4th. |
Reesie weighed 3.2 pounds at 12 wks. She's now almost 11 pounds. Abbie weighed 2.5 pounds at 12 wks. She will be 5 months Feb 5th. |
My Abbie weighed in at 2.2 at 8weeks. She's 13months now, and 6.5 lbs. |
We got Riley at almost 8 wks old & she was 1lb 4oz. Today she 9 months old & is 3lb 4oz |

***doortego*** I just checked the Yorkie wt. charts and your Yorkie doesn't match up. LOL. For that tiny I would have NEVER guessed 4 lbs. at 9 mos. I guess those charts are truly only guesstimates huh.:animal36 |
Hannah weighed 2lbs at 11 weeks old. Today at the vet she weighed 2.8lbs at 17.5 weeks. That kinda concerns me that she has gained only 8 oz in 6 weeks....:confused: |
Tinkerbell weighted 9 oz, at 6 weeks when I got her. She was wayyyy too young...........I got her in Korea. She is 3 1/2 now:) |

We got Trixie when she was 14 weeks and she weighed almost 2 lbs. She's now almost 15 months old and weighs 5 lbs. I got Pia when she was almost 1 year old and was told she was about 3 1/2 lbs. I was lied to and she actually only weighed 1 lb. 9 or 10 oz. She's now almost 2 yrs. old and weighs 2 lbs. She may have only put on 1/2 a lb. but it made a big difference with her. I hope she keeps on gaining :D I don't even want to think about what she weighed when she was 12 weeks :( |
Maggie weighed 2.6 lbs when I got her and she was almost 11 weeks old. I thought she was perfect!! still do :p she was quite chubby...you can tell that she was fed well ;) she goes for her shots tomorrow...16 weeks old....and I am very curious to know how much she weighs!! I'm sure she is somewhere around 3.5 lbs. maybe a little less. |

When we got Bailey at 10 weeks he was 1 lb 1 oz the last time he was weighed was on the 9th of this month at 4 months old and he was 2 lbs 13 oz. by now I think he is 3 lbs now but I could be wrong, because I though he was way more when I took him on the 9th but he was only 2 lbs 13 oz :rolleyes: we are thinking he will be around 5 lbs full grown but you never know :) he will be weighed again at 6 months |
Ritz was 1 lb 1 oz at 8 weeks He is now 9 mo and 2 lb 6 oz I think he will gain weight when I get his puppy teeth pulled , he acts like it hurts. Bonnie |
I know, the breeder told me she wouldn't weigh over 2# and silly me, I believed her. Of course, now I know I didn't want her that small. AND I'm not real positive about the age. I'd hate to think I took her any earlier than 9 weeks but the vet did tell me that by the way her teeth came in, he didn't think she was that old. :eek: Also, she has now been spayed & seems like that is when she started gaining. And the vet says she is all hair. LOL! Quote:

I still have hope that she'll keep gaining weight :D I'd like to smack the breeder a few good times for lying to me but Pia is healthy (thank goodness) and I wouldn't trade her for the world. ;) She eats like a piggy so hopefully it will start sticking one day :D |
Wrigley weighed 1.13lbs at 12 1/2 weeks when we got her. She is 7 months old now and as of a few weeks ago when she was spayed, she weighed 3.09lbs! |

Brissy was 2 lbs at 8 weeks. She is now 2.9 at 12 weeks. That puts her at about 5lbs grown. If the chart tells no lies.:laugh: |
Hello At 9 weeks when we got Harvey, he weighed 1 lb 7oz, he gradually put on weight and now at 9 months he weighs 3.5 lb.
