Donating YT 11K Club Member | For those that have 2 or more yorkies..... Do they fight a lot? I'm just wondering if mine are the only two that play fight (but rough), jump on one another, steal each other's food and toys. It's like having 2 kids!! lol All I do is I seperate them if they get too rough because Teddy is much bigger than London but she's the one that starts the trouble, she tackles him and thinks she's his size. So do your yorkies do this and what do you do to make them stop?? Just wonderin.....thanx |

| I have four adults and 3 12-week old pups. The only two that don't get along are the two adult females -- Chattie and Chizzie. They are kept in separate sections of the house 24/7. The rest of the crew plays well in any combination. The favorite game is Chase Chizzie who's chasing the ball. Chizzie loves to play fetch and everyone else (except Chattie) loves to chase Chizzie! |

Wow you have a lot of doggies. I can't imagine. That's cute that they all chase Chizzie. lol London basically follows Teddy everywhere, he runs, she runs. If they fight I take her away and then she starts to cry because she wants to fight with him again. She sleeps on my bed currently and Teddy in his so I can get good nights sleep, otherwise I would have to wake up a lot during the night to separate them. And for some strange reason EVERY morning, real early Teddy will whine and lean on the side of my bed and wake London and me up. I don't know why. Even after I feed him he still does it. | |

| Teddy and London are so adorable! I love your avatar! My 3 play fight all the time but only 2 at a time so there's always one trying to get in on the action.

| My three pups play rough together ALL the time. You'd think they were killing each other if you didn't know better. They make funny growly noises, tackle each other, bite at each others fur, steal toys then play keep away. If it gets TOO rough, I seperately take each one to their water dish since they're usually panting and tired at this point.. let them get a drink of water, then put one on the couch with me, give the other two a toy/treat to keep them occupied. They'll be calm for a few minutes but then start back up again Silly dogs! I'm watching them MUCH more carefully now though when they start tugging on each others fur... someone ripped a patch of Bentley's hair out and it got a bit infected and he had to go in for a shot, antibiotics and cream.. |

| Dougal and Dixie always wrestle. Dixie always starts it too. She's 3kg (About 6.5lb) and Dougal's 6kg (about 13.5lbs). I always just let them go for it. I don't interfere. If one of them doesn't like it they let the other know. I've never feared for Dixie's safety around Dougal - even though he's about 2 Dixie's worth of Dog.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Mine don't 'fight' but do have toy tiff's.....what's really funny is they have a game called 'Git My Face' where Chanel hangs her long chin hair off the couch and Cheri jumps up to grab a bite lol - but as far as real fighting - NO.... but Chanel has jumped on Cheri to take a toy away and Cheri screams like a little girl - but they always - ALWAYS.... kiss and make up. |

| Yes, it is like having 2 extra children in the house!! It's amazing how when we first brought Gage into our home, Gabby wanted NOTHING to do with him. Now - if one is out of sight of the other, they are looking for each other, Gage especially - can't be away from Gabby more than a few minutes. They love to "play" fight and Gage usually instigates it. His favorite is to jump all over her then run and jump on the couch. He'll then get to the edge and lay there and look at her, waiting for Gabby to come jump up and try to bite his chin. Then he's off and running circles around her and jumping on her again. It is rather funny to watch them play

| My girls payfight and wresle all day long! I have heard a couple of growls here and there but they are just playing. Of course I am here all the time that they are toguether to make sure they have a referee. I don't remember how old Teddy is but since London is a puppy that is to be expected. Mine are 7 and 6 months so I know this is their equivalent of bad teenagers so I just have to work around it, that is unless it ever gets violent..

| My 2 little boys are a year old now and they really get into it sometimes. Most of the time they just play and you can tell it's all in fun. Occassionally though they really get into it. The snarls sound vicious although neither one of them has ever gotten hurt it scares me and I distract them to break it up. They are both about the same size so they probably would'nt hurt each other but I just hate the way it sounds. They are lost without each other if seperated. |
