| a whole new dog!! when we got layla she was miss independant. she didn't really need us for much or want to snuggle. she would want to be held if she was sad or scared or hurt, but otherwise she slept far away from us and was quite content. I have noticed in the past few months (she is now 10.5 months old) that she has definitly become the lap dog we hoped she would be... she doens't mind being held at all and frequently asks to be picked up and BOY does she LOVE to snuggle... has she just "Matured" has anyone else had this happen?? |

| lexi hates to be held.. why? i have no idea... shes really not a lap dog. she is although loveable and all, but i guess shes just used to being by herself. she entirely too heavy to be held anyway..

| Ollie is not as snuggly as Chachi is. He eants to be held all the time. Ololie prefers to snuggle down beside me in my big chair, rather than on my lap. I believe that he was helc by the breeder, but Ollie and her mother were kept caged. |

| Lola had no interest in being held or snuggled when we first got her home, but now every time I sit down somewhere, she's right there wanting to get up on my lap. I have no idea why it took her a while to warm up. |

| Chachi has become sweeter since he has gotten older. He is still not a lap dog but he likes to be cuddled at times and for you to sweet talk him. Whenever I lay down on the couch to watch tv he always lays beside me. He loves warm blankets

| I find that Buddy is alittle of both. He loves to be hugged and kissed and at times comes looking for it. He will cuddle on my lap in the evening while I watch tv and when he's had enough he will lay on the floor. But always with me in sight! Carol & Buddy |

HEE! I could have written this! Mazie is our CONSTANT lap warmer, but Kiki's always been a "back of the couch" sitter. Never really cared at all for sitting in your lap, and if she ever did, she'd get up and move if you started petting her. Well. She's about the same age as Layla now, and recently things have changed. With the cooooold weather here in Texas, she finally gave up and started hopping in our laps to get cozy. The weather is a little warmer now, but she's still been a little lap sitter! She's laying on my arm right now, making it hard to type!
