| We are leaving this Friday for a 7 hrs road trip. The first 1 1/2 hrs are thru the curvey Redwoods. My moose gets car sick, and my vet said the give him 25mg of Dramamine. We'll see I guess. |

| First of all...I LOVE ginger snaps dipped in milk !! So, in case your baby won't eat them, you have a suggestion for a snack for yourself. As for the benedryl, I have to give it to Sukoshi when she has bad backwards sneezing fits, and she gets 1.2 ML/CC of CHILDREN'S benedryl, and she's 3 pounds, 1 ounce. I had to look at the amount of medicine in a tsp though, and do the math to figure out how much for her. The vet wanted her to get 1 mg / 1 pound of body weight (I think - don't use that measurement unless you have me check my notes at home first), so I had to do the conversion of how much medicine was in 1 mg, and then convert it over to ML, and figure it out for 3 pounds of body weight. It really wasn't as complicated as I just made it sound. Sukoshi takes it without a problem and it didn't make her sleepy or anything, but it would probably help calm a nervous baby. As for the Nutri Dent - I give Sukoshi the Nutri Dent Dental Chews, and they are supposed to be fully digestible, and good for their teeth. Sukoshi is 8 months old, and she loves them! Good luck! |
