| You guys are the best!!! I was checking out another forum and wow, I've gotta tell ya, those people are mean, nasty & vendictive!! I couldn't believe how they spoke to each other. I wasn't happy at all to be on that forum. I needed some info but I am afraid to ask them. You guys are the best!! Glad I found YT!

| I have also been on several other forums and, in my opinion YT is the friendliest of the larger forums. I belong to a small forum that I really like too but the larger ones are not so nice to new people. It's pretty cutthroat IMO! |

| Wow! I am surprised such forums exists. I belong to 5 forums including this one and all usually a fun place to visit, I'm so greatful for the yorkie forums and the opportunity to meet fellow yorkie lovers. I have never come across a forum with mean, nasty, vendictive & cutthroat people, I guess I have been really lucky |

| I agree Jennette! I guess I have been very lucky too! I have only had one experience where the people were mean nasty and vindictive, but it was one of the smaller forums! I too belong to several groups now and I am very grateful that everyone seems to get along! |

| May be I should clarify. It wasn't a yorkie forum. I have a sick dalmation and was asking a general pet forum and it was unbelievable. On one particular thread, 2 people were going at it wishing each others pets ill. I really couldn't believe it. They were telling each other what bad pet owners each other was and with luck maybe the rescue group would come and take their pet away. Wow, with friends like that who needs enemies.

| Thats horrible! As much as you may not like the poster...you shouldnt ever wish anything bad for their animal!!! Thats just crazy! It isnt the dogs fault! I am sorry you had a bad experience though! Are there other dalmation forums you have tried? |

| Ok, I was so shocked to think another yorkie forum would behave that way.. I think all us yorkie owners are great people, we all have one thing in common, we LOVE yorkies!! And with us forum adicts we love to talk about them too I am so sorry to hear your dalmation is sick, maybe you can ask the question here and someone might have knowledge of the breed? We'd love to help if we can. That forum does sound terrible, how could anyone wish another's pet ill. |

| I guess dalmation forums aren't in high demand because I can't find one. This forum dealt with all animals. It had a section for dalmations though. I couldn't trust anything they told me so I just wont go back.

| What I love about this forum is that even when discussions get heated & people get defensive - the dogs are NEVER criticized (sp?). People sometimes (rarely - but sometimes) attack each other, but never the other person's animals. The people on this forum truly love dogs and want nothing but the best for them. This is usually why discussions get heated - because people opinions differ on what is best for the animal - and everyone wants the animals to be happy & healthy! To sum up I guess my point is Yorkie Talk rules!!

| forum AMEN!!! I joined a Yorkie Breeders site last week. I posted an album. They used a photo to head a "puppy selling" site connected to it. I, nicely asked them the remove my photo...last night I got two of the nastiest emails back from them..."You snob, you high and mighty XXXXXXX, who do you think you are?? XXXXXXXX on and on. My email simply told them what they did was unethical and I did not want my pups photo heading up a site to sell pups from anyone, including pup millers. Long story short..if this woman ever runs into me..and we are both here in FLorida...she is going to put a "big hurt" on me..she is mad..said she can't stand breeders like me, thinking we are above everyone. PS..Whispersmom read my email and she said this person is insane to go off like this over a simple sentence.."please remove my pups photos asap." |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Wow Pat - it's a compliment that your photo was THAT great...but what a freaky way to respond to a simple request - they're jealous of your yorkies ...that's the only reason someone would say all that when they were in the wrong....She actually threatened you ? What is wrong with people these days ? I hate to say it but I probably would have been laughing 1st.......then ignoring her... |
