| Using the bell / wireless doorbell I am so happy that finally my chelsea is able to use the doorbell if she wants to go out to potty. I recently purchase a inexpensive wireless doorbell that I put low in front of our patio door. After 1 week, she finally gets it !. She rings the bell and now it becomes her habit to punch the doorbell if she wants to go out to pee or potty. I am so happy....... Since this is a real door bell, I can hear the sounds almost at the end of the door. This is how the bell and doorbell look like ...... |

Do you have a doorbell outside also so she can let you know when she wants to come back in?

| very cool. I have bells hanging from our back door for maggie and she picked it up right away. I was told not to use the "jingle bell" style bells cuz their claws can get stuck in there...made sense...so I went to the fishing dept of wal-mart and got some bells that look like miniature cow bells. she has mastered the bell ringing. I suppose the doorbell works great since you can hear it all over the house. that is what my dh needs because he has tuned out all "noises" LOL

| That is so cool! How do you train to do that? Do you ring it everytime you go out and they pick up on it? |

It took me a week to train her since initially she is afraid of both bells. FYI I got the doorbell from http://ledshoppe.com/Product/hou/HE1002.htm It costs me $10 (free shipping). It has quite a big push button and a good range (more than 50 feets). Unfortunately only 2 distinct ringers. | |

| That's impressive! I've just started trying to train my Cairn to smack the bells on the door knob with his nose. He thinks I'm crazy.

| That is wonderful. Mine is trained with the door bells, too. Wouldn't trade them for anything in the world. Congrats to you!
