OMG 2 CITIES away ???? Wow are you lucky and I'm so glad she's home !!! do you know how she got there ??? It sounds like she must have gotten loose somehow and IF I were you - I'd check my yard really well - they can get thru tiny holes in fences - very tiny - you'd be surprised - MY neighbors dogs keep digging and coming into my yard and can squeeze into a size 1/4 of her body width

PLEASE check your yard so this doesn't happen again !!! You were very very lucky and good for that little girl !!!

Playing "catch up" from the week-end and just saw your thread. So very glad to read she has been found and is at home, safe, where she belongs! If there's any way to lock your gate, you might want to check into doing that if you haven't already.

Again, so glad to read the happy ending!!

2 cities over and at a HS. Sounds to me who ever took her got scared when they saw the posters of STOLEN. Decided to let it go. Thank goodness for the girl & her mom. If I found a little dog, Id check for a micro chip also. That's why we had both our girls done.
I'm just glad Gidget is home. I'd be hanging some bells or motion sound detector out back on the gate. I know for a while you won't let her out of your site, if ever. I'd be curious to know how many other dogs in your area have come up missing. I've read it's happening all over.

Thank God for MICROCHIPPING!

I swear I even have my African Grey Parrot Chipped! ;) You never know!

And thank heavens you had your chip registered! Did you know that an overwhelming majority of microchipps are not registered to the dogs owners... Instead they remain registered to the breeder or the vet who chipped the animal... and if the animal is scanned and the owner of the chip contacted... it may not be you if that chip is not registered....

I have to admit, I have five chips in my home, and one is not registered...I put it off and just have not gotten to it! but after reading this... I seriously need to get it registered!!!!


I am So Very Happy that she is back in your arms!!!!!! And I bet she is Just as happy to be home as you are to have her there. Bless you both!

Prayers were all answered and I'm happy you have your baby back, but I'm doubly sure she is more than happy to be back with her mommy!:D Never let your baby outside unsupervised. Ya just never know!

OMG, this is WONDERFUL!!!!! Those microchips are truly AMAZING!!!! I am seriously going to think about getting one for Stedman the next time he goes in for a set of shots. Although he is NEVER EVER out of my site, and he ONLY goes in my backyard...you never know when he might fly out the front or back door one day and TAKE OFF. So the chips are really good to have "just in case" and because, "you never know".

So, so glad to hear that your baby is back home safe with you now!!! HORRAY!!! :cheer: :happyboun:
