I was just thinking the same thing when I saw the poster..I think I would have gone as far as to say she needed meds or something. Desparate moms do desparate things.

I am really sorry:( I hope you get her back. I can't imagine what you are going through.

I'd leave pictures at your vet, and all vets in the area. I'm sure someone will have to take her to the vet sooner or later. And if she's microchipped their is a bettter chance of you getting her back.

I AGREE! Maybe she'll be so obnoxioius that they'll return her. Seriously, I'm so sorry that someone would do this to you and your baby. Some people are simply greedy with no heart. Is she fixed? That will at least keep her out of a puppymill. You've got to wonder about the world we live in now days. Hope she's home safe and sound soon.

have you contacted local vets and put up missing signs there and at pet stores maybe even at places like walmart and so on! i hope you find her

I'm so sorry about your little one. I don't know if this has already been mentioned but you might want to keep checking the local ads. Sometimes these babies are stolen to be sold. I'll keep you in my prayers that you get your baby back.

My thoughts are with you for a safe return of your little one. I hope someone sees the sign and she's safely returned. The reward does not have to be large if you say "reward" on the sign, in fact I would not state what the reward is on the sign. And I would definitely say "no questions asked" on the sign like someone suggested.

Have you talked with all the neighbors on your street to see if maybe they saw something?

Generally when dogs like Yorkies are stolen, they are stolen for profit. Make a lot of reward offered signs and put them on every telephone pole, Vet. offices, pet stores and such. Post how much the reward will be. Make it at least $500.00. Call the local radio and TV stations and ask they run the information. Give the TV stations pictures to post. Call all the local shelters and police station to let them know about this.
Since your in CA. there is also the possibility that a bird of prey or coyote got her. I wish you all the luck in the world in finding her safe.

Good Luck on finding your dog. I would be very wary of posting this on the web. Sounds like scammers would crawl through the cracks with everything from finding your dog to selling you another. Be Cartful. Advertise in local paper. Maybe, the local new station would be interested, since it sounds like a thief, sometimes they do special interest stories.

Yes that is what I told my husband.....I hope she messes up their house...maybe she will piss them off and they will bring her back. Everyday I open the door and hope to see her there :(

I just want to add my vote for the LOST signs! And please put the words "HUGE REWARD" on them!

My friend Patty, who does Pet sitting, put up a billboard on the main drag and got a clients dog back after 3 weeks had passed! She offered a Major reward!!!! and sure enough... that dog suddenly appeared!

The billboard was put up where the dog went missing but was over a half an hour away from where the dog ended up!

That theif was in your neighborhood for a reason.. they know people where you live! People around you know them! If you get the word out that your dog is "LOST" they can play "hero" and return it when they get "caught" with it... cause they will get caught! If they get caught with a stolen dog... they'll dump it! Don't set that situation up!

I'll be praying for you!!!!!! File that police report! Get the lost fliers to the pound, the vet, the pet stores, the groomers, post office, grocery stores and convenionce stores!!!!

Then plaster the town with them!!! And find neighborhood kids (teens) to deliver them door to door!!! I'd go to the printer to get them run off by the hundreds!

Oh gosh...so so sorry you're going through this. Yes I too would make up my posters with the LOST and REWARD instead of stolen. Also going door to door is a fantasic idea...if someone has your pup she will hear your voice when they open the door and will go nuts. I'm keeping you in my prayers..Good Luck and Stay Positive!!!

i just wanted to say i am soo sorry and i am praying your baby gets returned soon!!!!! everyone has already given such great ideas....i think the "huge reward, no questions asked" is amazing to put..............i was also thinking, but i am not sure, someone else said you could say she was sick and needed medicine, then maybe they would take her to a vet soon to see what medicine she needs...i think you should go to every vet office you can get to and give them pics and ask them to please microchip scan her...i am soo sorry ....you are in my prayers....

Gidget is now home safe and sound :)
She was picked up over in Garden Grove (2 cities over) I guess a girl brought her home from the HS up the street (where I figured there was a connection) I guess kids were playing with her in front of the school passing her off to eachother and she was the last one there and didnt just want to leave her...anyhow the mom thought it would be best to see if she had a chip since she was the type of doggie that she was (they had a Lassa that has one and thought they would want someone to do the same) And so they got connected with the chip company and they contacted me....whoooo I am just glad that the ordeal is over and she is back home lounging at home :)
